[0.0s] Dumbgeons and Dragons will begin in a moment. [3.0s] Bizard, Alydin and Kavlarananan are the three people in this room. [8.5s] You've just been, Alydin in particular, you've just been handed this, what looks like a hall pass to you [16.1s] by your new friend, Joe, aka the hall monitor. [22.0s] He hands it to you and he says, this allows passage without escalation. [29.2s] I do not know why that would be necessary. [32.0s] At that you hear footsteps and a call from down the hall, coming down the stairs. [40.2s] You hear the voice of Tally and Bonwyn and Tally says, I think, I think they're down here, [44.8s] but it's kind of creepy. [46.4s] I don't want to go down here. [47.6s] It is a little bit creepy down here. [49.4s] What are they, what are they doing down there? [51.7s] Well, they disappear down there and then somebody told me to go get you because you [56.6s] guys all like to hang out and something about a person thing. [68.8s] It sounded fine the way that Alydin described it, screaming up the hall. [75.4s] Okay, I have drawn my weapon because what are we walking into? [79.6s] I don't know. [80.3s] Well, I'm not walking into anything. [81.9s] You have fun. [82.9s] No, okay, yeah. [84.7s] Thanks, Tally. [86.2s] Yeah, it is creepy. [88.1s] They're just down there. [89.7s] Okay. [90.2s] You guys still down there? [92.8s] Yeah. [93.5s] Yeah, we're here for you. [94.5s] Just follow their voices. [95.5s] That's what I do when I get lost. [97.6s] You scoot on out of here. [99.0s] All right, we'll see you later. [100.4s] I'll just set the timer again. [103.3s] 15 minutes. [104.6s] You got it. [106.7s] Hey, where, what's going on? [108.9s] Dumbgeons and Dragons is a D&D actual play podcast and I'm your dungeon master Russ More, He-Him. [116.6s] Also with me today is Amy More as Alydin, She-Her. [120.2s] Would you know it if you saw it? [121.5s] Carla Maxted as Bonwyn Everbane, She-Her. [124.6s] Say something that only you guys would know. [126.9s] Tom Laird as Kavlarananan Goldweave, He-Him. [129.8s] You are a pillar of the community. [132.0s] And Kyle Claset as Bizard the Wizard, He-Him. [135.1s] I was really hoping you would say no. [136.7s] Dumbgeons and Dragons is a Patreon supported show so every twist, every triumph, every [142.4s] truly questionable decision is possible because of listeners like you. [147.4s] Join us today at Patreon.com slash dumb dragon cast and now fuck it, let's play. [156.1s] And sorry, we're in the basement of the school. [158.0s] Of the school, yes. [159.6s] You've gone down into, well you went down into a basement and then there's like a [163.8s] sub basement that was behind some filing cabinets. [167.2s] This whole town is under ridden with secrets. [171.3s] Yes, exactly. [174.2s] So yeah, dust and cobwebs and you see an open door down at the end of this long hallway. [181.2s] And that's where the voices of your friends are coming. [184.2s] Make your way down there and step in and I will read aloud the description of this room [192.1s] more or less again. [193.4s] You see your three friends and they are surrounding a humanoid, a vaguely humanoid [201.0s] figure. [201.4s] He's constructed of lacquered wood or they're constructed of lacquered wood, [205.5s] brass hinges and layered parchment that stretches across a narrow frame. [211.2s] A small iron bell hangs from one wrist and a clipboard is fused into the other arm. [217.1s] The page is yellowed but pristine. [220.2s] And where a face should be, there's only blank parchment. [225.0s] And as you step into this room you see that on the floor there are runes that are faintly [232.2s] etched in a circular manner around the room. [237.8s] There are various filing cabinets all covered in a very thick layer of dust in this space. [244.8s] And a desk on the opposite side. [248.3s] And there looks to be just a few footsteps coming from that desk that end with this [253.8s] figure in the middle. [255.8s] Hi, friends. [257.9s] Do I need this? [260.3s] And I show them my to be determined. [264.6s] I don't think so. [266.8s] Okay. [268.2s] No, but I'm glad you're here. [269.9s] Real quick. [271.3s] We have a new friend. [273.4s] This is Joe. [275.1s] Hi, Joe. [276.9s] Violence is not necessary here. [279.8s] Great. [281.8s] Great. [282.5s] Okay, I'm glad. [283.8s] Joe is the hall monitor for the school. [288.1s] Oh, the secret underground lair of the school? [295.7s] No, just this one room school. [299.1s] Oh, I see. [300.0s] This part of the school that only exists. [303.8s] Okay. [305.0s] Hey, you should stand inside that circle and see if you hear something familiar. [310.2s] Oh, that's that's really cryptic. [313.0s] Okay. [313.8s] Are you guys really my friends or you're freaking me out? [317.7s] No, sorry. [318.5s] That only you guys would know. [322.1s] I have a pretty cool tattoo on my back. [325.2s] Oh, you I mean, that's true. [326.7s] I feel like everybody might know about that stretch. [331.4s] I feel like Joe would think it was pretty cool. [334.0s] Absolutely. [334.6s] This is the target audience. [336.5s] Joe is the target audience. [339.5s] Okay. [340.1s] Yeah, I'll stand in the circle and see if I hear something. [343.9s] He's not dangerous. [344.6s] Because I trust you implicitly. [347.5s] Thank you. [347.8s] I hope you're my real friends, not weird fake versions of them. [353.2s] I would never be fake. [354.4s] Bonwyn, you step into this rune circle and immediately [362.9s] everybody else sees that this is a different reaction. [366.3s] The room itself reacts before the circle does. [371.4s] The air grows warm. [373.7s] The dust lifts, not swirling, but settling inward. [379.7s] The bell on the hall monitor vibrates without ringing. [383.4s] And then the runes flicker once. [387.3s] Then they don't glow. [389.8s] They steady. [391.2s] You hear in your head, Bonwyn, you hear an older voice [398.4s] than perhaps you've heard in to date. [402.3s] Because you've been, everybody's been hearing voices. [405.7s] It's older and slower and it says load bearing. [413.2s] Then there's a pause. [415.9s] Continuity through pressure. [421.0s] You feel a heaviness in your shoulders [425.4s] as though something unseen has settled there. [432.9s] Do you hear anything? [436.9s] Well, it said load bearing. [439.6s] Did you guys hear that? [441.0s] No. [441.5s] No. [441.8s] Oh, load bearing. [443.7s] Continuity under pressure. [445.8s] It didn't say what it said when you put the book in the pedestal? [449.8s] That one time? [450.6s] No. [453.4s] Bizarre, roll me a perception, please. [457.0s] Okay. [457.8s] This is Carla not remembering, but I'm pretty sure that was something different. [462.2s] That is a 22. [465.0s] Bonwyn's describing this and you see on the opposite side of the rune circle, [471.4s] catches your eye before anyone else, [474.0s] you see a new rune being etched into the outer ring. [480.2s] It's metallic, not inked like the others. [484.3s] And as you see that come to fruition, [488.3s] a low tonal hum begins to fill the room. [495.1s] Is that bad? [497.1s] Should I jump out of here, guys? [500.9s] Did that happen before? [502.2s] No. [502.6s] What's happening? [505.3s] Joe freezes and then says very softly, [512.2s] faculty? [515.8s] No. [518.6s] Infrastructure. [524.2s] It looks at you, Bonwyn. [528.3s] Doesn't say anything else. [531.4s] Infrastructure would make sense. [533.4s] Did he assign roles to you? [538.1s] No. [539.8s] Not cool enough for that, I guess. [542.9s] But you have like, oh, he's the hall monitor. [546.5s] And he has a roster. [548.8s] Oh, but he didn't say you were on the roster? [552.3s] I'm, what did he say? [556.2s] I'm unassignable. [558.9s] I'm yet to be assigned. [561.0s] I feel like those are two very different things. [565.1s] Pending determination. [566.9s] Pending determination. [568.6s] Okay, so we can just roll with what you said. [570.6s] That was close enough. [573.5s] Okay, infrastructure. [578.7s] So I'm like, part of this place? [584.7s] Maybe. [586.2s] In ways. [588.4s] I did feel when the words were spoken, [594.8s] like a weight was put on me. [598.3s] Not like a weight lifting, like the opposite, [601.0s] like something settled on to me. [604.5s] Well, you are a pillar of the community. [607.8s] I mean, that's kind of a funny pun, [610.2s] but also accurate. [611.9s] Yeah, very accurate. [612.8s] I mean, it's likely that your ancestors contributed [616.2s] to the building, the creation of this building. [619.8s] For sure. [620.8s] Yeah, absolutely. [622.2s] Joe, do you know who built this place? [624.7s] Who built the school? [626.1s] I don't believe I'm authorized to remember that. [629.8s] Oh yeah, Joe has a lot of problems with that. [632.2s] Right. [633.4s] Even though I might be related to them? [636.6s] Was there an Everbane on your list? [638.7s] He looks at the clipboard, [640.4s] and you don't see anything on the clipboard. [643.1s] He's flipping pages. [646.9s] No, I don't see an Everbane. [649.7s] Let me check my files, [653.8s] and he goes over to some of the cabinets. [660.6s] Well, he's doing that. [661.9s] You guys, are we OK down here? [664.4s] Why did Stally have to set a timer? [665.9s] Still not sure. [666.5s] Not sure. [666.8s] OK. [668.2s] Well, just in case. [669.7s] Just a precaution. [670.3s] OK, OK. [671.1s] Just a check on us every once in a while. [673.2s] That's really smart. [674.2s] And thank you for sending her to get me. [676.2s] I didn't. [676.8s] We didn't send. [678.1s] I'm kidding. [678.6s] I'm fucking with you. [681.4s] We were actually wondering how you got here. [684.9s] Who brought you? [686.2s] Are you actually Bonwyn? [687.8s] Oh my god, we didn't even check. [689.3s] We should have keywords or like, you know. [692.2s] We should. [692.9s] Secret handshakes. [694.2s] Yeah. [694.7s] Yeah, password. [695.8s] So we know if someone tries to pick us up from school, [698.2s] it's not our mom. [700.0s] So Bonwyn, just so that you know, [701.8s] this school's been doing really weird stuff lately. [703.9s] Like we're not, I don't think it's Joe's fault. [707.0s] Like the school school? [708.2s] Yeah. [709.0s] OK. [709.5s] Like desks are groaning, and the bell just kind of, [713.8s] it has its own schedule. [716.2s] Hall notes, like hall passes have been changing. [721.8s] OK. [722.2s] So just more weird stuff, but specifically at the school. [725.9s] Yeah. [726.7s] But like. [727.9s] But everybody's safe? [728.9s] Are the kids all OK? [730.0s] I don't know. [730.7s] Tally got a hall pass to go to the bathroom, [732.7s] and then it changed, and then she totally forgot to pee. [738.6s] Oh, I hate it when that happens. [741.0s] Yeah. [741.3s] But like. [743.2s] I still think that was weird, [744.7s] because it's not like a, usually you, [747.8s] people don't remind you, your body is like, [749.8s] oh, hey, remember? [750.6s] Exactly. [752.6s] Oh, and there's a knocker that was talking. [755.4s] Oh yeah, asking for a real question. [758.4s] Oh. [759.2s] Yes. [759.7s] Was it being rude? [760.6s] Like that book that was in the center of town, [762.7s] and like calling people out? [764.5s] I mean, not really. [765.3s] It was just asking a visitor to the school [767.3s] what they were doing, what they were doing there, [769.4s] and who they were. [770.2s] But like, it felt invasive at the time. [772.8s] That's fair. [774.2s] But it was to the door of the classroom we were in. [777.6s] So not even the school. [780.8s] True, just the classroom. [783.0s] Kavlarananan was already in the school. [785.5s] I'm not sure. [786.5s] But I think Joe. [788.6s] But no ink's been bleeding and attacking or anything, [791.8s] so that's. [792.5s] Not that I've seen. [793.4s] No. [793.7s] Okay. [794.1s] No. [794.7s] Okay, that's, I mean, that's better. [797.2s] There is an obvious connection to that here. [803.0s] So. [803.8s] This guy also has a roster from like 250 years ago. [810.5s] Oh, interesting. [812.7s] But no ever been on there. [816.5s] I thought my family had been here that long, but. [818.6s] Well, I mean, your family of craftsmen, perhaps. [821.9s] They just constantly passing down the family business. [827.0s] Yeah. [830.6s] Welcome to the middle, everybody. [832.2s] Jesus. [832.6s] It's the middle. [833.7s] Right on into it. [834.2s] I just sometimes find myself in the middle. [836.6s] You wander through on a darkened path. [838.9s] I had no idea what they say. [840.4s] The sun clears. [840.7s] You think you're going to visit your grandma. [842.0s] The sun clears. [843.7s] And all of a sudden, you're in the middle. [845.1s] Yes. [846.4s] Yeah. [846.9s] On the trip to grandmother's house, we go down to the middle. [850.9s] Exactly. [851.0s] Hey, have you got your grandma to listen to Dumbgeons and Dragons yet? [854.1s] You should sign us. [854.7s] My grandmas love us. [857.4s] Grandmas can't get enough of us. [858.9s] Saucy grandmas. [859.3s] That's the untapped market. [860.8s] Saucy grandmas. [862.6s] Yeah, grandmas who, you know, live through that satanic panic [867.4s] and they're ready to play D&D. [870.6s] Yeah, we want their ears. [871.9s] We want them listening to us. [873.8s] Dungeons is hot for grandmas. [875.8s] And you know what, a little kind of a schedule change we haven't been the most on [881.5s] because there's been illnesses and things happening, [883.8s] but we are officially going to do bi-weekly for the next few weeks [888.2s] just to kind of get back on track. [890.4s] So there's no like, you know, expectation, all that sort of stuff. [893.8s] But just to let you know. [896.9s] That life is happening. [897.6s] Let's just set an expectation so you don't have an expectation. [900.0s] We're going to dial back the expectation that we had. [904.3s] Yeah. [904.7s] Talk to your grandma. [906.2s] She'll explain that sometimes life throws up some roadblocks. [910.8s] And we're giving you time to go listen whether yes. [914.9s] Go to her. [916.0s] This would be a great summer time with your grandparents. [919.0s] That's right. [919.5s] Or elderly aunts and uncles. [921.3s] Called your grandparents recently. [923.8s] Listen party. [925.6s] Be like, oh, okay. [927.1s] Right. [927.3s] You don't know what to talk about with your grandparents. [929.3s] You just sit down. [930.8s] Nice hot cup of coffee. [932.2s] Maybe some tea. [933.2s] Let me tell you a little tale from Vinter Smith. [935.4s] And press play. [937.0s] Also, I think I've advocated this before. [940.1s] But if you're over like helping them with tech stuff, [943.9s] just subscribe to the podcast on their device. [947.0s] Download the background. [948.2s] They won't ever know. [949.2s] It's totally fine. [950.2s] Or maybe one day it pops up. [951.6s] They're like, what's this? [952.7s] What the hell is this? [953.5s] They give it a listen. [957.9s] So that's all we're talking about today is that we're going to slow down. [961.8s] So you've got time to catch up with your grandparents, okay? [965.7s] You're welcome. [966.3s] Yes. [966.8s] We're doing you a favor, it turns out. [969.1s] And once you're all caught up or anywhere along the way that you deem necessary, [973.3s] please visit us at Patreon.com slash dumb dragon cast. [1011.1s] It's like no one has a bad smile because all have awesome names. [1014.7s] Yeah. [1016.0s] Thank you. [1016.3s] Zayde particularly has a nice smile though. [1019.5s] We probably all agree, right? [1022.0s] Warm. [1022.9s] Yes. [1023.5s] Warm. [1024.0s] Yeah. [1024.6s] Reaches the eyes really beautifully. [1046.0s] How do I end these? [1046.7s] I don't know. [1047.1s] Love you. [1047.5s] Bye. [1047.8s] Bye. [1048.2s] Hashtag be like Zayde. [1051.3s] Joe's been filing through one of these cabinets and he pulls it pulls out the cabinet drawer [1060.3s] and it's stuck halfway and you can kind of see over his shoulder like all of the files [1066.2s] are old and worn and yellowing and he's filtering through and even like tries to [1071.1s] pull back some and pulls out a folder and flips it open and he says and so you said [1080.3s] Everbane, correct? [1082.3s] Yeah, Everbane. [1083.5s] Yeah. [1084.4s] Holds a file with a header that you can see that says Lingersville Academy final roster. [1093.5s] The pages stop mid year. [1097.5s] Names fade toward the end but one name does jump out and he points to it and it says [1105.8s] Malin Everbrain Everbrain Malin Everbane. [1112.0s] She was a nerd. [1112.7s] That's what the kids called her to make fun of her. [1114.5s] That was hilarious. [1115.5s] Malin Everbrain. [1116.6s] Everbrain over here. [1118.7s] Status on the roster says age 12. [1121.8s] Apprentice track. [1123.2s] Craft in brackets. [1125.7s] Malin that's that's my like great great great great great great grandma. [1132.7s] You know guys the one with the forge and the oh that great great great great great [1138.1s] great grandma and Lingersville. [1140.9s] Yeah that's the that's the town that's no more. [1147.0s] Yeah when was the last time someone checked? [1151.4s] If it is no more things aren't the same as they were before. [1157.2s] Yeah oh well we talked about going there didn't we we were gonna because the weird [1163.0s] things were happening and we were like let's go where the weird things are happening. [1167.8s] I think and then instead you guys came down to this much closer place where weird things [1172.3s] are happening so I get it. [1173.8s] Well it just kind of you know we were here talking about school and then. [1177.9s] Plus like it's really hot for a long walk like that right now. [1180.9s] It's true it's actually I mean it's it's nice down here subterranean you know. [1186.0s] Yeah. [1186.4s] Keeps it cool. [1189.0s] I do think that this was it all feels too convenient but it's kind of pointing back [1196.3s] towards Lingersville something is just drawing us towards that I mean because [1202.7s] the students coming from there that's being tied to it this I don't know it seems like [1208.2s] it's the right direction to go and this just gives me maybe more confidence in that decision. [1213.3s] Yeah question did we ever get any information about whether or not the kids [1220.9s] who came back from the fae were in the roster? [1225.8s] Oh right yep. [1227.0s] Yeah we had discussed like oh we should see if some of those kids that have been away [1230.5s] for forever were from Lingersville. [1233.0s] No we have we would not have gotten any of that information to at this point. [1240.0s] No on the on the roster there are a few other names that you can see. [1244.2s] I would love those names what do we got we got a Knops we got a what do we got? [1249.5s] Loris Harrison age 9 noble track civic studies Elric River RYVER age 14 military preparatory [1265.2s] Heron Linger age 16 advanced commerce Junel Foison age 11 athletics and navigation [1277.7s] and A Grieves age is redacted clerical apprentice and name is also partially redacted hence [1288.7s] just the A. [1290.2s] So the real founders of Lingersville it sounds like Linger and then Foison is yeah huh well [1298.6s] it makes me uneasy but I don't have a good reason for that. [1302.0s] Right. [1302.9s] Joe how long have you been the hall monitor here a long a long time? [1307.3s] I've been the hall monitor since since the academy was founded. [1315.0s] And who hmm this feels rude who made you? [1323.1s] Probably not authorized to remember that. [1325.5s] Oh okay yeah of course you guys asked of course yeah. [1329.6s] I believe I used to report upward. [1334.8s] Right that makes sense. [1336.8s] Like to the headmaster? [1340.3s] I believe so. [1341.8s] Who was the headmaster? [1343.3s] I don't believe I'm authorized to remember that. [1348.2s] It's not like on any forms anywhere. [1349.5s] I was gonna say maybe a file somewhere. [1352.9s] Are we permitted to go through these files or? [1355.8s] Oh please. [1358.3s] He steps aside. [1360.0s] And I was really hoping you would say no I don't want to. [1362.5s] Yeah no there's so many. [1364.0s] That's like oh I don't know what we'd be looking for. [1367.2s] I tried that one with oak too it didn't work with him either. [1370.2s] Okay. [1370.8s] I've misplaced a ledger and he looks like he goes [1373.9s] I think deep into thought and then flips on his clipboard again. [1378.8s] I think himself goes over to one of the cabinets and begins searching through the files. [1386.1s] Not here. [1387.2s] Do you want us to help you look for it? [1392.0s] Yeah you give us like. [1393.8s] Tell us what it looks like and we're happy to help. [1397.9s] We're really good at finding stuff. [1399.4s] I don't remember the specifics of it but [1402.5s] there's something I feel important about it I just can't place it. [1407.4s] Would you know it if you saw it? [1409.1s] I hope I would. [1410.2s] Russ can I use my eye for detail to do a perception check [1413.8s] to try and find a hidden creature or object or to uncover or decipher clues? [1420.4s] Sure. [1421.2s] I don't have a good plus for perception but let's see how she rolls. [1426.1s] Not great that's a plus zero. [1431.0s] 12. [1432.4s] Okay you're looking around and like large I mean largely [1438.9s] everything in this room has been untouched except for the couple drawers that he's [1443.2s] opened the footsteps of all of you around on the floor. [1446.8s] You begin like checking drawers yourself and all of you and Bon when you get to a drawer [1454.9s] that seemingly won't open. [1457.7s] Do you do you have a key for this one Joe? [1461.0s] No none nope none no none none none none none none. [1469.4s] The drawers should not require any keys or locks. [1473.4s] Oh okay maybe I just need to really like put my weight into it so I kind of like [1479.4s] You can do it. [1480.3s] Spread my leg lower center of gravity and just like really reef on it. [1485.7s] Sure uh roll a strength check. [1489.1s] Sure I do oh that's just a 10. [1493.9s] You hear whatever is jamming it like like straining like you're picturing you putting [1501.8s] your feet up like now pulling on it like in a bit of a comical style. [1508.5s] Part of it gives way a little bit so that like there's only just the faintest view [1514.2s] inside the drawer but it doesn't budge beyond that. [1518.7s] Can somebody do you guys want to try? [1520.4s] Oh oh oh okay okay um I want to cast Mage Hand. [1525.4s] I go over and I crack my knuckles and and I look a Bizard who probably looks like he's [1531.8s] about to give some sort of like helpful like way to go and I was like I I got this I got [1539.0s] this I got this because I'm embarrassed from what happened last time so. [1542.6s] Mind Hand. [1544.0s] Mind Hand so I want to essentially put my super thin little mage hand in and if I can [1555.5s] if there's like a move that spatula that's blocking the that or grab files and slip them out [1562.6s] because sure it's open I'm sure a page with them out at least uh so I I do that I think [1572.0s] really hard and I try not to get into my own head about it. [1575.0s] Okay describe to me what it looks like as it as it works this is the second time you've [1579.8s] done this today and you're feeling confident. [1582.5s] Oh yeah yeah I'm getting better um so as I'm thinking about it I'm doing a weird hand wiggly [1592.6s] motion which is unnecessary I'm sure um and then the same shiny color of my eye [1603.1s] is the color of my mage hand so um and it's kind of wispy and a little smoky and [1608.1s] slips into the drawer and like yeah gropes around I guess I can't see it can't see [1615.0s] just like whatever you touch pull it out yeah it's inside there is a single ledger in there [1620.2s] that you you tamp around and grab and then you pull this book and like it strains against the [1625.8s] the drawer as as Bonwyn's pulling at it to allow leaving just the littlest more room [1632.0s] um and pops out and it hands it to you. [1638.5s] You see that see that's amazing. [1640.5s] Well done yep great job. [1642.5s] What's in here? [1643.8s] It is a blank ledger and on the inside cover though it says index subset dash educational [1655.5s] nothing else is written. [1656.7s] What if we like hold it up to the light can we see where there was writing [1661.0s] and we make an etching on it. [1662.4s] What does it say again? [1664.2s] Index subset dash educational. [1668.1s] Didn't Alistair say that the archive is indexing? [1673.8s] I just saw that in my notes you guys. [1676.8s] Yeah he did. [1678.6s] So this is index are does it have to is it part of the same? [1683.7s] Hey Joe do you know where the the weeping archives are? [1687.7s] Worth a shot great question. [1689.2s] Yeah. [1690.6s] He looks down at the ledger and there's like a puzzled body language that he gives off and [1699.0s] he says I don't believe I'm authorized to to remember that but that I believe is the [1708.4s] ledger that I was thinking of and he comes over and oh looks at it and. [1713.0s] Alydin you found it in the coolest way possible. [1715.3s] Great job. [1716.1s] I think you found it Bonwyn. [1717.5s] He looks at it takes it from you if you offer it flips through the pages I remember I [1726.4s] I don't know why I remember this book. [1730.9s] Like it it may have been important or are you not supposed to know it but you do? [1736.8s] I don't know and he closes it and hands it back to you. [1740.6s] And sorry all the pages are blank? [1742.5s] Correct except for the inside cover. [1744.3s] Where yeah yeah yeah. [1745.7s] Can you guys like I don't know like magic reveal. [1748.9s] I'm sorry I don't know how your powers are. [1750.6s] Oh let's write in it maybe it'll be like that book that oh writes. [1755.3s] Let me try that. [1757.0s] I hand it like I gesture towards Cav and I'm bizarre and I'm like [1761.4s] I don't want to what if I get sucked into the book I know that sounds stupid. [1766.5s] I mean you probably won't but I'll do it I'll do it it's fine. [1770.8s] So Cav you go to write anything in the book? [1774.5s] Yeah. [1774.8s] Does Joe seem worried about this as we're like? [1777.3s] No. [1778.1s] Okay great. [1778.7s] Yeah not giving up. [1779.4s] I'll write out my job title at City Hall. [1783.1s] You begin to write and it's it's like when a pen is out of ink like nothing appears on [1790.1s] the page nothing you want to write is there there's no indent in the paper as if you [1795.9s] had just you know pressed too hard nothing happens to the page. [1802.5s] That's weird.
