[0.0s] Previously on Dumbgeons and Dragons. [2.4s] Did you guys hear that? [3.8s] I heard something. Did anyone hear it more clearly? [7.7s] It sounded not dead. They need to get to the tower. Someone's somewhere. [11.4s] I don't know if you can see something, but all I can see are undead and [16.6s] I feel terrible saying this, but I think we just have to go. [20.2s] I guess so. It doesn't sit right with me. I heard them. [24.2s] We gotta keep eyes on the prize though. [26.3s] We will hope they know how to get to the tower. [29.0s] We will hope we can get to the tower. [31.8s] Off and to the right of this room, there is a single desk. [36.8s] There is a letter, but what catches your eye is a figure slumped over beside the desk. [45.3s] I rushed to this person. [47.1s] It becomes clear that this person is deceased. [50.5s] To whom may find this letter? [52.5s] The Arcane Brotherhood is not lost. [56.5s] This beacon of hope is meant to guide you to our location. [60.6s] Find the Arcane Brotherhood in Icewind Dale. [65.0s] There's refuge there. [128.4s] If that's not a mouthful. [128.9s] So many letters. [130.0s] There's just so many letters. [131.1s] There's like dashes, epistroph, it's wild up in here. [136.9s] You're going to have to pronounce it every time exactly the way it's said, okay? [141.3s] Be a lot of, hey you. [142.6s] Yeah, totally. [143.7s] And new girl. [146.9s] Where we also don't pronounce things well is over on Patreon. [149.8s] Patreon.com slash dumb dragon cast. [151.8s] Where when you are on Patreon, you get an episode dedicated to you. [154.6s] And I'm going to do my best to pronounce their names right. [156.4s] No, but don't, because then you just set yourself up for, you know where we don't. [161.1s] This is a catch 22. [162.6s] You either do it right. [165.6s] So no pressure. [166.6s] There's no way you can succeed. [168.2s] Okay, well, this one's kind of hard to mess up. [172.6s] Newt Bootsma. [174.6s] Thanks Newt. [175.6s] Thanks Newt. [176.7s] Also, those are fun syllables all in a row, aren't they? [179.9s] They really are. [181.2s] So you can join us at Patreon.com slash dumb dragon cast. [183.6s] And now, fuck it, let's play. [200.3s] We see you three soaring through the air on your magic carpet. [206.4s] Going high above the spine of the world. [209.8s] And down below, we see a soul figure on horseback riding equal pace to you. [221.0s] You break through the mountain range after four or five days of travel. [230.0s] And before you, you see this shimmering rainbow wall. [235.7s] And at the base of this wall is a horde of undead. [248.3s] There it is. [249.0s] Check this out. [249.4s] This is the darkest timeline people. [251.2s] You got tricked by the rainbow wall. [253.0s] You thought that sounds nice. [254.7s] Camera panning down. [255.8s] Still nice. [256.4s] Still. [256.7s] Oh, no, not nice anymore. [257.9s] Magic carpet, rainbow wall, person on a horseback. [260.7s] Come on. [261.5s] Flying demons are crashing into this wall and shimmering and pouring. [266.8s] You see tears beginning to form and them trying to crawl through. [271.8s] You bring your carpet down and land beside the rider [275.8s] and just take a look over the sight before you. [281.8s] And then we hear a heavy pounding knock at the door. [286.7s] And we find ourselves back in the tower of the Arcane Brotherhood. [292.2s] The three of you are getting ready. [294.0s] You're gear. [294.6s] You've had a few hours of good solid rest. [299.4s] As you're getting ready to leave to Icewind Dale, [303.1s] where you have been directed, this heavy knock comes at the door. [309.6s] Oh, I don't know. [312.1s] Are we expecting anyone? [314.6s] Oh, you two are vibing. [316.3s] Jinx, you owe me an ale. [318.9s] So we're thinking like someone's selling cookies or like. [326.2s] Can anyone see through a wall? [329.4s] No. [330.7s] No. [331.8s] Should we just, hey, who's there? [335.0s] Good one. [335.6s] Yeah. [337.8s] Again, a gun tell gear. [339.0s] Louder, louder. [340.3s] Hello? [340.7s] Oh, I want to crack the door just like a little bit and do that thing [346.5s] where you brace your foot along the bottom so that no one can shove it in like a jerk. [351.7s] A large hand with pale Goliath like skin [356.1s] does reach through the door and start to shove it open. [358.4s] Oh, no, thank you. [359.3s] No, thank you. [360.2s] Strength contest, please. [361.4s] Oh, well, that's. [363.5s] You can do it. [364.3s] Don't kill me by opening a door. [368.4s] That's 13. [371.0s] I didn't. [375.8s] 19 then you're just like sliding against the door. [379.1s] You're comically pushing me back. [380.5s] My shoes are like skidding along the dusty floor. [385.0s] I'm very calmly, not like urgently, just like the door needs to open. [389.6s] Like I'm not even there. [391.6s] I may not have noticed you. [394.5s] It's possible. [397.0s] Yeah, it happens. [397.9s] It happens a lot. [399.1s] And stepping through the door, you see a very large Goliath woman. [405.2s] She is probably getting close to eight feet tall. [409.5s] She is quite strongly built. [414.2s] Not a surprise, perhaps, that she was able to push the door open that that simply [418.8s] and fairly mud streaked. [422.4s] Probably some hints of dried blood at various places in the furs and armor that [427.9s] she is wearing a fine panoply of weaponry attached to shoulders, back, hips. [438.1s] And she just steps through the door. [440.3s] My footing slipped this floor. [442.8s] Tiny pebbles all over. [444.4s] Who are you? [445.3s] Sorry, before you close the door, there are demons and stuff outside in case you [449.4s] want to bring anything in. [451.2s] Yes, so before she closes the door, [456.6s] she holds it open for a few moments longer and a gigantic horse comes in behind her. [466.3s] This horse is pale to the extent that is almost translucent. [471.6s] You can see blue veins and almost its musculature through the skin, sort of in [478.0s] like a creepy deep sea creature kind of way. [483.1s] And its eyes are this almost sickly yellowy green. [488.4s] And it sort of like snorts and huffs. [491.0s] And she slaps it on the butt a little bit to get it to move all the way through [496.3s] so she can then close the door. [499.3s] How big is the space in here now that it's in the lobby? [504.6s] Cool, because I was picturing something a little bit smaller. [507.7s] We're all like cheeked. [509.6s] Piled in the elevator. [511.4s] Can't even stand up because the eight feet isn't high enough. [514.9s] Yeah, no, we're in a large grand chamber of this massive cathedral room. [522.6s] And she'll just sort of take a second to look around at the group of you. [528.3s] And as you ask her who she is, Agath. [535.6s] Gesundheit. [538.2s] And you? [541.8s] I have so many questions. [543.6s] Well, I mean, let's start with the basics. [546.6s] Telgir. [547.8s] I'm Yenbl. [549.1s] She nods at each of you. [550.7s] Well, I didn't want to give my name, but now I feel weird [553.2s] being the only one who hasn't said it. [554.8s] I'm Thea. [556.3s] You do seem slightly weird. [558.8s] Yeah, well, I mean, says the eight foot tall person [561.5s] who came riding in a translucent horse. [565.9s] Who are you? [566.6s] Not your name, but who are you and what are you doing here? [570.1s] I seek answers. [573.0s] This is the tower. [577.4s] Arcane Brotherhood. [580.5s] The Beacon. [582.1s] Yes, you're in the right place, [584.2s] but unfortunately no one else is here. [590.8s] We have also only just arrived and we will be leaving soon. [597.6s] And what is your business here? [601.0s] Much like you, we came for answers and some assistance. [605.9s] Good, well, where are the answers? [610.1s] Do you know to whom we should speak or a library or? [624.0s] Well, we do have a lead. [627.9s] Are you, I don't know, this is going to sound stupid, [630.2s] but the whole world is completely fucked up. [632.3s] Are you a good person? [638.1s] I am not a demon. [639.9s] Okay, that's a good start. [644.4s] You go. [645.2s] No, you go. [647.8s] She's just looking back and forth between the two of you. [650.7s] How do you feel about Orcus? [652.6s] Oh, that's a good question. [654.1s] Poorly. [655.5s] Yes. [656.2s] Okay. [656.7s] Yeah. [658.0s] That is a good answer. [659.6s] Are you maybe looking to change the world back [662.1s] to the way it was perhaps? [665.2s] I'm not sure I believe such a thing is possible, [668.3s] but were the gods findable, I would be interested in that. [678.1s] Or if I could bring punishment to Orcus, [683.5s] I would be interested in that. [687.8s] Well, it kind of seems like we're all on the same team here. [691.7s] Wonderful. [692.2s] We can get going then. [693.4s] Yeah, we're headed to Icewind Days. [697.6s] We are going to Icewind Days, that's the one. [700.6s] We found a letter and that there's a refuge or [704.6s] that is where we are going. [708.4s] But there is nothing here in the tower. [712.2s] Correct. [714.6s] I think she just sort of turns around and punches a wall. [717.8s] Oh. [718.4s] Briefly. [722.2s] So many dead. [723.9s] And nothing here in the tower. [727.5s] You've checked. [729.0s] We have thoroughly checked. [731.0s] Well, there's one dead guy upstairs. [732.8s] Pretty good sweep. [733.8s] Yeah, dead guy upstairs. [735.0s] And that's where we found the letter. [737.3s] The letter. [737.7s] By the beacon. [740.4s] Yes, there was a letter from MacArthur Crimson [743.5s] explaining about Icewind Dale. [746.0s] Are you ready? [747.2s] Do you want to take a sweep of the tower first? [750.7s] Yes, I must see. [752.7s] Want to go punch the guy upstairs? [754.9s] Perhaps. [756.1s] Okay. [756.6s] How long has he been dead? [758.6s] Is he very rotten? [761.2s] He's not rotten, but he has been dead a long time. [765.2s] Yeah, pretty gross. [767.1s] And do you know who he is? [768.9s] No. [770.1s] And what was in this letter? [772.3s] Just instructions about going to Icewind Dale. [777.6s] Well, you can read this if you like. [780.2s] I would like. [780.7s] I'll give her the letter. [782.4s] You look at the letter and it says, [784.6s] To whom may find this letter? [787.1s] The Arcane Brotherhood is not lost. [790.2s] This beacon of hope is meant to guide you to our location. [794.6s] Find the Arcane Brotherhood in Icewind Dale. [797.7s] There's refuge there. [799.4s] A place where the undead have slowed and cannot keep up their unrelenting force. [804.6s] Signed, MacArthur Crimson. [806.7s] And does that name ring a bell for Agath at all? [810.8s] Yeah, you would have been coming because you likely had contacts or at least [818.2s] knowledge of some people in the Arcane. [820.5s] So yeah, the name definitely would ring a bell. [822.9s] Maybe not somebody you met, but through... [826.9s] I mean, I'm sure it was a real big story of how the Decimators of Dragons [831.0s] saved her from an ice dragon's lair. [833.9s] A tale told across the land. [836.9s] Yeah, that one lasted 20 years. [838.7s] Yeah. But yeah, you would recognize it. [844.8s] I would like to do a quick sweep of this building if you have the time to spare, but [857.4s] I would not object to joining you in Icewind Dale if that is where the Brotherhood now is. [865.5s] I'm happy to wait. [867.0s] I think we could use all the help we can get. [870.1s] Also, can I touch your horse? [873.3s] I would not recommend it. [877.0s] He is sensitive and has a foul disposition. [884.2s] Oh. [887.0s] Does he also have a name? [887.8s] She's totally going to touch your horse when you leave. [891.7s] Tresraxus. [893.8s] Tresraxus. [894.6s] It's real mouthful. [895.6s] That is a strong name. [897.3s] I call him Rax. [900.9s] He dislikes this. [905.3s] Sounds like you two have a strong bond. [910.5s] Search the castle. [911.5s] It's complicated. [914.2s] We'll take care of Rax from a distance. [918.6s] From around a corner, you guys hear Donnie, but you see a red pseudo dragon [923.3s] zip out from around a corner carrying as many dry crackers that he could find. [928.4s] I found enough food to last at least me for like 20 minutes, so that should be- [933.1s] Oh! [934.5s] We have friends? [935.7s] I think sort of instinctually she goes for a weapon and then- [941.0s] It's all right. [941.9s] He's with us. [942.9s] Donnie, get in here and I open up my pouch. [945.0s] Okay, yeah, yeah. [946.2s] Just gonna pile the crackers in here. [947.6s] We got a new friend? [949.8s] Yes. [951.0s] Okay, cool. [952.6s] Horse has a real good vibe about it. [956.9s] I'm gonna hide in here. [958.7s] You would like to go off and search the building? [962.6s] Yeah, I'm just gonna do a quick scan for anything. [967.1s] I think the idea of fighting so hard to get here and then having it be empty is [973.1s] just a little hard to swallow, so she just needs to see it for herself. [978.0s] You want to make it past the foyer. [980.2s] I get it. [981.3s] Are there any, aside from people, is there any thing in particular that you might be looking for? [992.2s] Any sort of writing, any sort of like maybe, you know, what she would really like to know [999.4s] is what the F happened to the gods and where are they and why the fuck aren't they here. [1007.0s] So anything relating to that. [1011.8s] So writing pictograms, diagrams, stained glass things that might have hints, [1018.6s] that kind of thing, or I don't know, magical portal that'll come take her [1024.0s] to punch Orcus right in the teeth maybe, something like that. [1028.7s] Okay, you go off. [1030.9s] Do you leave the horse where it is? [1033.3s] There's like an elevator that takes you up. [1035.1s] He kind of does what he wants, so. [1037.4s] Okay, cool. [1039.4s] Horse stays, but your new friend Agath walks off and back down the hall. [1045.9s] I want to try to make friends with the horse. [1048.7s] Okay, you're welcome to say what the horse does at this point. [1052.7s] I guess roll an animal handling check, maybe that sort of. [1057.8s] It was only a 15. [1060.1s] Okay, not so bad. [1061.8s] Well no, but I mean with a plus 10 animal handling, [1064.2s] I was expecting something a little more exciting, but I rolled an Amy, so. [1069.2s] He is very moody and part demon, so he stomps and sort of shakes his head [1076.6s] and huffs and doesn't quite attack, but you do notice that as he huffs, [1083.3s] the breath coming out of his nostrils starts to get like this greenish acrid [1091.0s] like look and smell to it. [1092.6s] And like you can sort of like feel like as you try and get closer, [1096.6s] it kind of like burns the inside of your throat as you're breathing. [1100.4s] You kind of like sort of like if somebody is cooking really hot chili peppers [1105.0s] and it just like just like. [1107.9s] I've done that to myself. [1109.1s] Yeah, it's sort of like suddenly like, okay. [1111.0s] Oh, wow. [1112.6s] Oh, it was like a boy. [1115.4s] It's going to be a good one to have on our team. [1118.3s] Tell gear turns the end ball. [1121.4s] He says, did you happen to scope all those weapons? [1126.0s] Yes, this is a very impressive person. [1129.0s] I'm very happy to have on our side if she is on our side. [1133.5s] So so tall, so strong down, not, you know, not down with orcas. [1138.6s] So that's that's right away. [1140.5s] That's a plus. [1141.5s] It has been so long since we have seen any creature [1145.7s] not immediately trying to kill us. [1147.9s] It's refreshing. [1148.6s] It's why I was a little standoffish at first. [1152.4s] You know, we've been burned before. [1154.0s] Yeah, no, I totally get it. [1156.9s] Plus, I mean, just kind of really just manhandled that door with you behind it. [1161.1s] Really just pushed it and you just slid on the floor. [1163.8s] It was real, just real slick. [1166.5s] And then Fia starts to like scuff her shoe, like where it was trying to recreate [1170.4s] how slippery it was, even though it wasn't slippery. [1172.2s] It's not slippery at all. [1173.3s] In fact, you can't scuff them at all across that with your own strength. [1177.2s] Dust blew in and it's me, you know. [1179.5s] Yeah. [1179.8s] Oh, yeah. [1180.2s] No, happens to the best of us. [1181.5s] It kind of rolls his eyes in the background. [1187.0s] We follow Agatha back down this hallway. [1191.1s] The first hallway that you walk down, it follows the outside of the tower [1196.3s] in almost a circular fashion for quite a ways before coming to a singular open door, [1202.8s] probably because the other three would have been coming and going from it, [1207.9s] which leads into just a small box of a room with a series of lights on the wall. [1214.7s] Are they like magical lights? [1217.0s] Yeah. [1218.2s] Yeah, she can tell. [1220.3s] She knows magic stuff. [1221.7s] Yeah. [1223.9s] Can I roll some kind of like history or a kind of check on what they are? [1229.0s] Would you know how an elevator works? [1231.4s] No, I don't think those are very common where she's from. [1234.9s] They're not. [1236.4s] She's going to spend a lot of time. [1239.5s] I didn't prepare to detect magic, but... [1243.6s] You can definitely roll an arcana or even like a history, [1247.6s] because you would have gained some knowledge of the tower itself. [1251.0s] A little bit better at history, but that ain't good. [1253.8s] That's a 10. [1255.0s] You stare in this room for quite a while. [1257.4s] Yeah. [1258.1s] What would Agoth do, not knowing exactly what to do, in order to get movement? [1264.2s] Shield up, slowly approaching very cautiously, stepping back a bit, [1273.8s] itching forward again, considering casting a spell, but deciding against it, [1282.5s] going to take out maybe like a lance. [1286.2s] Just make it really awkward and like, start poking things with the lance. [1293.1s] As you poke like one of these lights, it illuminates brighter, and then the door begins to close. [1299.8s] That is very nerve-wracking, small spaces, not great, but... [1303.8s] Then vertical movement starts. [1306.3s] I think she's very motion sick. [1309.5s] This is all we're doing for the rest of this episode. [1311.9s] Agoth is on the elevator, pressed against the wall. [1320.3s] Doesn't take very long, and then the movement slows, and then comes to a stop, [1323.9s] and you hear a small ding, and then the door slowly slides open, and you're on [1331.0s] there's an entirely different hallway ahead of you. [1333.8s] She's going to take full stealth crouch, creeping forward at a low crawl. [1341.9s] Out of the doors very quickly, in case they are closing again. [1346.6s] Gonna maybe prop them open with something, and then very carefully, [1353.3s] very hunter-in-the-wood style, make her way down this hallway. [1358.5s] It's a dimly lit hallway, and there's several doors along the way. [1363.8s] As you look in the first one, it looks like what were at one point living quarters. [1368.5s] A lot of the sheets and beds have kind of been tossed. [1371.8s] Personal items seem to have been cleared off of shelves. [1375.6s] There's the occasional non-important book or journal that's been [1384.2s] scrawled in a couple pages, but as you kind of flip through some of these, [1388.4s] there's no real information regarding the gods, or a portal, or anything. [1395.9s] It's all just, it seems like all before information, when people were living happy lives. [1404.6s] So does it look like this place has been abandoned for that long then? [1408.7s] Like 10 odd years, or? [1411.3s] Not 10 years, I don't think. [1413.7s] It looks like it's been, like dust has started to really pile up on shelves and stuff. [1419.8s] There appears to be fresh footprints, [1422.2s] but what you can absolutely deduce is that they match the three that you met downstairs. [1428.2s] On this floor specifically, you don't find anything else. [1433.2s] So I'd say it's been abandoned for anywhere from between one and three years. [1439.2s] Okay. Are there stairs, or is the elevator the only way to traverse? [1446.2s] Yeah, as you walk around, the only way you find is this dinging box. [1452.9s] It is the way. [1454.6s] She'll like scowl at it and kind of grit her teeth and like, you know, [1457.5s] just sort of do a sequential, I think she's figured out that the button, [1461.8s] how the buttons work, no longer requires the lance. [1465.4s] Still deeply suspicious. Does not like it. [1469.1s] Does not like this experience of moving like under something else's volition, [1474.0s] but will scope the rest of the tower in the same way. [1477.9s] Yeah, you go floor by floor until you reach a floor about midway up this series of lights, [1484.8s] and the doors swing open and you find that there are no footsteps leading out. [1489.3s] Okay, more promising. [1490.5s] Which leads you to believe that it was a room, [1492.5s] or at least a floor that was missed by the group before you. [1495.4s] We are not thorough. [1497.3s] You walk out and into this, what looks more like a large cathedral, [1503.1s] and you do see along the walls, which are the swirling beacon up on top, [1511.6s] illuminates these stained glass windows, and in them are just backdrops. [1523.0s] From the looks of the room, and as you kind of go around, [1526.5s] you see that there are like placards beneath all of them, [1530.0s] and they have the names of, at the very least, the lawful gods. [1535.2s] But in those stained glass images, you do not see those gods. [1540.8s] Hmm, interesting. [1544.3s] Yeah, I will sort of like do a full circuit of all of the windows and the cathedral space, [1553.8s] and if there is nothing else to find except the god's continued absence, [1560.4s] then I will eventually make my way back down. [1565.3s] In the meantime, I feel like my lovely horse may have racks like snacks, [1575.1s] so he may be trying to muzzle his way into that bag to take some of those crackers [1581.8s] that we're flying past. [1583.5s] Super excited about it, and it's just feeding him all these crackers like, [1587.8s] Hey! Hey, those are my crackers! Hey, no! [1589.8s] You'll be fine! [1590.3s] Get it away from the demon beast! [1591.4s] I'm making a friend, Donnie, you know how important this is to me! [1594.2s] No! They're my crackers, I found them! [1595.9s] You walk around the corner as this is happening. [1599.0s] They're mine! [1599.8s] It's fine, you're making a friend. [1601.3s] Rex is like just sort of like snorting and like bearing his teeth at the pseudo dragon. [1608.0s] Ugh! I can snort and bear my teeth too! [1610.8s] Hey! [1611.0s] Oh, you got something there, right? [1613.1s] It's a cracker! [1614.0s] No, it's not. [1615.8s] Okay. [1616.2s] Stop snorting. [1617.5s] No! [1617.6s] Get in the bag, Donnie, you're embarrassing yourself. [1620.1s] Your horse is a menace. [1622.9s] Yes, that is the point. [1626.9s] Did you find anything that you were looking for? [1632.5s] I simply found that here, too, the gods are absent. [1638.1s] What gods specifically are you looking for? [1642.4s] Well, any of them would be nice, but... [1646.6s] Yeah, fair enough. [1648.7s] Eldath and I once had... [1652.6s] Well, I was once her cleric. [1656.6s] Before, being a cleric was not a thing anymore. [1664.2s] Right. [1665.0s] Well, let's go kick some orcish ass and find some gods in the Arkane Brotherhood. [1674.8s] Yes. [1675.9s] I'm sorry, I'm still feeding crackers. [1680.4s] They're my crackers. [1681.4s] We have only arrived here not too long ago in this time and place. [1688.6s] In this time? [1697.8s] Yes, we were... [1701.8s] I guess in the before times? [1704.9s] We're from the past, but isn't technically everybody from the past? [1710.0s] No. [1711.0s] What if you think about it, though? [1713.2s] Well, turns out these ones were fighting a lich, and then they essentially didn't realize [1721.0s] ten years had passed. [1722.6s] You say that like we lost track of time in a floating pyramid told here. [1727.4s] That's not what I meant, but just from the time they went into the flying pyramid [1732.2s] and the time they came out, ten years everywhere else had passed. [1736.7s] Not a lot of time had passed for them. [1739.4s] And the ten most terrible years. [1742.0s] And in all of this, I had not even thought to consider that the gods had all disappeared. [1748.8s] You are a cleric. [1750.2s] I am. [1754.2s] For whom? [1755.6s] I follow the path of the light. [1757.9s] I have a spirit, a quarry spirit called Ithgara. [1762.9s] It is, I think, somewhat different than a cleric. [1766.7s] Here I am from Kalimshan, and it is different, but I have a spirit who follows a god. [1775.8s] And your magic, have you used it since you lost ten very bad years? [1789.5s] Yes. [1789.8s] And it, did it not destroy things around you? [1805.3s] Only the things I was intending to destroy. [1811.4s] She cocks her head, and it doesn't, for us, [1818.3s] the clerics who are not from the past do beg, air quotes. [1827.9s] When the gods disappeared just before the war, our magic remained, but the gods were not here [1841.2s] to fuel it, and it draws its power from the earth around us. [1851.3s] Every spell I cast has a cost, a direct cost, of the life force of those beings around me. [1865.2s] Do you still have connection to your god? [1873.1s] I look at my traveling companions, assuming they will jump in and say something, [1878.6s] if I have been draining their life force while we have been like, [1882.5s] I look at them, have I been hurting you? [1891.2s] I assumed everybody knew about [1895.0s] this. Of course, that was a dumb assumption on my part. [1901.4s] It's hard to remember what has happened in ten years to mention it. [1904.5s] That's true, there's a lot. [1906.0s] A lot, and the world is ended, it is a lot to remember. [1912.0s] My power comes from the Dreaming Dark. This is different than following a god, [1922.5s] so perhaps that is why I can still access my power? [1927.8s] Perhaps they are not banished. I do not know the Dreaming Dark, but I do know that [1937.6s] whether it is living creatures or plants or just the earth itself, each spell I cast [1945.8s] draws on that life force a little more, and the time the earth has left [1952.6s] grows shorter with each act of magic. [1957.6s] Mathia, are you not able to restore the earth a little bit as we have traveled? [1964.9s] Like this much? I draw my power from the earth itself, from nature, and I don't know, [1975.0s] maybe given more, there's not much earth or nature left. I'm only able to revitalize, [1986.0s] I guess, a small portion. [1989.4s] So she'll look at the group of you, sort of like in a stern, like matronly [1996.6s] manner almost, and be like, you do not cast frivolous spells here. [2005.1s] Cast only with the utmost need. [2009.3s] I do not cast frivolous spells. [2012.8s] Good. [2014.0s] Didn't you try to make just a leaf green? [2016.7s] That is not a frivolous spell in a dead world! [2019.4s] You gave away my cracker! [2020.5s] Johnny, I swear to God! [2022.2s] This is a lot of information to try to process. Perhaps we should start our travels. [2029.8s] We generally go by carpet, but you and your beast will not fit on the carpet, I don't think. [2038.2s] Oh, but I bet he can run fast! [2040.3s] Who runs fast? [2041.8s] I hand him another cracker. [2044.0s] He's really worming up to you a lot. [2047.4s] I think Agatha's kind of watching this. [2051.1s] I'm gaining a friend in the horse and Donnie's just hating me more and more in my bag. [2055.5s] Why, I gotta get that horse while it sleeps. [2058.8s] Does the horse sleep? [2060.1s] It is a demon, it does not sleep. [2062.2s] Motherfucker. [2062.9s] So, so your horse is fast? [2065.2s] Could probably keep up to a flying carpet? [2068.6s] How fast is your rug? [2071.2s] Out of character, it goes 60 feet, like its movement is 60 feet, [2075.6s] which is probably horse equivalent? [2077.8s] We will be fine. [2079.2s] Russ is waving away. [2080.6s] It's nothing crazy, though. [2081.7s] Well, if the horse starts and goes... [2084.1s] If a magic carpet and a demon horse both leave, [2088.5s] we will be fine. [2089.4s] I suggest we go. [2092.5s] Yes. [2093.1s] Yeah, no time like the present. [2095.4s] Yes, there is nothing more for us here. [2100.2s] You all climb aboard your transports and break through the door into a swarm of demons. [2109.4s] Love it. [2110.2s] Welcome to the middle. [2118.2s] We're here and we're excited. [2119.9s] And we're winners. [2121.2s] Winners. [2121.9s] Kind of. [2122.6s] Honorees. [2123.1s] No, not kind of, honorees. [2125.1s] Yeah, well, always in our hearts. [2127.3s] Always. [2128.0s] Uh, no, I take this as a total win. [2131.4s] I'm gonna turn Amy's mic up there. [2132.9s] I'm real hot. [2133.8s] I mean, you are, hey, hey, you are real hot. [2136.9s] It's true. [2137.5s] It's true, sorry. [2138.2s] So is our podcast on the Webby Awards. [2140.8s] Yeah, the Webby Awards. [2142.5s] We entered them and we got an honoree, [2146.2s] which means we get a plaque that we get to put up on the wall. [2149.2s] A plaque. [2149.7s] That's pretty awesome. [2150.5s] A plaque, guys. [2151.8s] It's amazing. [2152.2s] And we can share custody of this plaque and it can spend summers with us. [2156.6s] And then we can go kind of like in a three-month rotational period. [2161.0s] I don't want winters with the plaque. [2162.8s] There's nothing to do. [2164.4s] But you're always inside with the plaque. [2166.6s] You get to see the plaque all the time. [2170.2s] This is really just a win for you, Tom. [2172.8s] I like it. [2173.7s] I'm on board. [2174.3s] But we wanted to brag a little bit, [2175.6s] but also say thank you for listening to us [2177.5s] and for being here and for supporting us [2179.4s] and doing all that crazy stuff that you do on the interwebs [2182.0s] to tell people about us. [2183.1s] Because without that, we wouldn't have a plaque to share. [2186.3s] Yeah, we would have just been nominees. [2189.0s] Well, nominees is actually better than honorees. [2191.0s] So we don't, yeah. [2191.8s] We would have just been. [2193.3s] Nothing. [2193.8s] We would have just not been mentioned at all. [2196.2s] Thank you for your submission. [2197.8s] You know what we would have been like? [2199.0s] We would have been like Facing Fate, [2200.3s] who didn't even get an honoree. [2201.5s] Poor little baby show. [2202.5s] Aw. [2202.9s] Yeah. [2203.4s] It's just, it's not its time. [2205.6s] Dumjins put in its time. [2207.4s] I feel like next year. [2208.6s] Next year will be Facing Fate's time. [2210.6s] We won't even enter Dumjins. [2211.9s] Yeah, we will. [2213.0s] OK, maybe we will. [2214.0s] We'll see how it goes. [2216.3s] But yeah, we got a lot of details about that somewhere. [2220.7s] Don't know. [2221.1s] Probably in the description? [2222.6s] In the description, maybe. [2223.4s] Or on our socials. [2224.4s] Follow us. [2225.0s] Follow us on the socials, like Facebook, and Twitter, [2227.3s] and Instagram. [2227.9s] Did we tell you that we're back on Instagram? [2230.0s] I didn't know we left. [2230.9s] Russ has been gramming all over the place. [2232.9s] Nah. [2233.7s] Yeah. [2234.2s] No, well we are. [2235.4s] And I do it. [2237.4s] Sometimes. [2238.2s] That explains that. [2239.5s] Hey. [2240.7s] That sounds like how we do things. [2243.1s] Instagram.com slash DumDragonCast. [2245.3s] So come join us over there. [2247.0s] It's probably a picture. [2247.8s] We'd love for you to see it. [2249.2s] OK, that's the end of this middle now. [2251.1s] Love you, bye. [2251.8s] Love you, bye. [2252.3s] OK, love you, bye. [2255.0s] And we cut back to the base of the Spine of the World. [2261.6s] You see before you this horde of undead [2265.0s] and this rainbow wall that looks like it curves up [2269.3s] and back towards the region of Icewind Dale. [2273.4s] Is Spine of the World like the name of a mountain? [2276.2s] OK, good. [2277.0s] That's what I thought. [2277.8s] Good for me. [2278.6s] And we're just witnessing like a dome of protective magic. [2282.1s] It appears that way. [2283.4s] Yeah. [2285.0s] Yeah, it appears to be blocking out [2288.7s] these demon creatures and undead creatures. [2292.7s] But it does appear that some of them, [2294.6s] the harder they hit and the more that hit in one place, [2297.8s] are able to at least break through the curtain a little bit. [2303.8s] You haven't seen any get through, [2307.0s] but it does appear that they're weakening in some spots. [2310.2s] And how close can we get? [2313.7s] Is there energy coming off it, pushing us back, [2316.2s] or how do we interface with it? [2319.0s] Are we so good-hearted that we're just [2321.0s] going to make it through no problem? [2322.3s] We can just fly through? [2323.5s] I don't know. [2325.0s] How do you want to deal with this? [2326.4s] I don't know if the horse will make it through. [2327.6s] I'm worried about the horse. [2331.0s] Good point. [2332.0s] Yeah, I would like to fly close [2335.8s] and see what we're dealing with. [2338.8s] I don't want us to get rocketed back. [2341.0s] In fact, since I can fly with my special boots [2344.4s] or however I was able to fly before, [2347.2s] I think I just can. [2348.2s] I think I just decide to. [2349.9s] Wait, but now maybe that's a spell. [2351.7s] Fuck. [2352.6s] Can you just fly now? [2355.2s] Yeah. [2355.7s] Well, I mean, do we have clarification [2357.4s] on if Yenbul's magic is the same? [2362.1s] We don't. [2362.6s] You have nothing clarified beyond what a Goth has told you. [2366.9s] Maybe flying on the magic carpet is destroying the world. [2370.3s] Who knows? [2372.4s] If only they get off the fucking carpet. [2375.0s] Greenhouse gases. [2376.2s] Yeah, I mean, air travel is notoriously [2378.2s] one of the biggest polluters there is. [2379.8s] Lazy sons of bitches just walk already. [2382.7s] Just terrible. [2387.0s] We should fly close and see if we can get through [2391.3s] because we are good people. [2393.1s] Yeah, I kind of want to touch it. [2394.3s] It's pretty. [2395.8s] Let me re-describe. [2397.4s] So you've landed at the base of the Spine of the World. [2400.9s] So then there's rolling foothills [2403.0s] and then swath of undead and then rainbow curtain. [2409.1s] So we're just a little up overlooking this horrific scene. [2414.1s] Yeah, yeah. [2415.6s] So we just can't stroll up. [2417.2s] We've taken a moment to confer. [2420.1s] Yeah, so this is where we landed you at the beginning [2423.0s] just to be like, hold fuck. [2425.7s] I have a question for you, Agath. [2429.6s] You keep saying that Rex is a demon. [2434.4s] This wall here seems to be repelling demons [2440.2s] or maybe undead or maybe we haven't seen any demons. [2443.9s] I don't know, but it's repelling things. [2446.5s] Is he going to be able to get through the wall? [2449.8s] I do not know. [2451.6s] He is technically half demon. [2455.3s] Perhaps. [2456.8s] That's enough. [2458.2s] Are you going to be able to ride through this horde [2463.2s] to make it to the base of the rainbow wall? [2468.0s] You should just like kind of smile a little bit [2471.7s] and sort of like loosen the mace on her shoulder. [2476.5s] I like your confidence. [2478.1s] Do we just try? [2480.7s] Do we know that Icewind Dale nailed it? [2485.0s] It's on the other side of this rainbow wall? [2488.5s] Yeah, you all have general world knowledge [2491.4s] of where regions are. [2492.7s] Yeah, we've seen maps. [2495.4s] Does it look like from here there's any areas [2499.0s] that might be less populated with the hordes of undead [2506.1s] and that you could maybe choose a more advantageous path? [2510.7s] One of your flying friends were to elevate themselves. [2515.5s] You would see that it appears as far as I can see [2519.8s] that there are undead, [2521.0s] but this seems to be like a large cluster. [2523.2s] Like there's a pathway that cuts through the Spinal World [2526.4s] which you were following along [2527.9s] and it seems like this is where a lot of them [2529.8s] have come out and just kind of congregate [2531.6s] and they're slowly spreading out. [2534.3s] There is a cavern farther to the east [2538.4s] where some of them appear to be like dropping off [2541.6s] the closer they get to it. [2543.4s] And it does appear to thin out more to the west. [2547.9s] If you decide or anybody decides [2550.0s] that they want to fly closer to it before just charging it, [2554.1s] I could give you more information, [2555.8s] but I'll leave that one up to you. [2558.0s] I want to run at it hard like platform nine and three-quarter. [2565.0s] Yenbul can fly up and get closer because, yeah, [2569.1s] in theory, she can just fly. [2570.8s] She can just fly, so. [2572.3s] Thea is going to take out guacamole and get on her back. [2579.8s] It's not what you think, Kristin. [2581.0s] Oh, it's not more snacks, surprisingly. [2584.2s] I was going to say, Rex's ears perk up. [2586.0s] Yeah, from her bag. [2588.2s] It's loose, though. [2589.0s] It's a loose guacamole. [2590.3s] I'm pretty bad. [2590.9s] Just a handful of guac. [2592.8s] Yeah, just a fistful of guac. [2594.7s] Just a fistful of guac, that's all it is. [2598.2s] Sorry for that visual, everybody. [2600.2s] My jade serpentine owl, I say, guac, I need you. [2605.2s] And a giant owl with a saddle, a big snowy white owl appears. [2611.0s] And I say, you know, if we're all on the same carpet [2616.1s] and we hit this wall and we all go down, [2619.9s] I think maybe now three separate units going for it [2625.4s] might be a good idea. [2628.2s] Maybe I could go for it first. [2629.6s] If I fall off, you guys could catch me on the carpet. [2634.7s] I mean, we can certainly try. [2637.0s] I'm just saying, I think if we're putting all of our eggs [2639.5s] in one flying carpet, we could end up with an omelet. [2642.8s] I will be flying 10 feet behind everybody. [2646.3s] Fair enough. [2646.9s] Just to let you know. [2647.9s] If we go to the west, there is fewer demons. [2653.4s] We could try to flank around them and then approach the wall. [2658.5s] Sounds like a solid plan. [2660.2s] Let's hope it's not a solid wall. [2662.2s] I've been giving Tullgear carpet flying lessons [2664.5s] so he can totally drive it by himself. [2666.2s] And I'm pretty good, yeah. [2667.9s] We've been taking turns because we've been traveling by carpet [2670.5s] so it's kind of exhausting. [2671.9s] We have to trade off. [2673.7s] Don't you control it with your mind, though? [2676.9s] So are you making him seem like he can do it? [2681.0s] You're doing a great job, Tullgear. [2682.6s] I grab the corners and I'm like, ooh. [2684.6s] I'm almost positive that is not true. [2688.2s] Spoken directions. [2691.8s] Yeah, it's not tied to Yenbul's magic. [2695.0s] It's whoever's sitting on it? [2696.2s] Yeah, exactly. [2697.4s] It has its own component to it. [2699.4s] It's just generally magic. [2701.0s] Right. [2701.3s] Because you can rent magic carpets. [2703.4s] Yeah. [2703.8s] Or could in the before the darkness. [2706.0s] In the before times. [2707.0s] In the before times. [2708.1s] When you could go to a movie theater or like. [2710.8s] Yeah, this is really just a commentary on how life is right now. [2713.8s] I know it feels like that. [2715.5s] And thanks for bringing that to our game that we play every couple weeks. [2718.8s] Why would I want to avoid that in my fantasy time? [2723.0s] I don't. [2723.5s] I want to live in the dark timeline. [2729.7s] All right, so you fly or ride off to the west. [2734.6s] Everybody roll stealth. [2737.5s] And are you charging it or are you going close, [2741.4s] seeing what you can see and then charging it? [2744.8s] I think the latter of those, like we'll get around the zombie horde, [2748.3s] see what we're dealing with and then. [2751.8s] Like advance. [2753.6s] Got it. [2754.2s] Yeah, scouting scouting run seems like something you do when you know how to survive. [2761.4s] Does Rex need to roll separately? [2766.6s] Um, yeah, he's a big old horse. [2774.2s] I mean, I would roll one base. [2776.8s] I mean, you're basically rolling for the horse at this point, I think. [2779.8s] Because you, yeah. [2782.4s] Should I roll for guacamole then and undo this role that I did? [2786.1s] No, you have to keep that. [2788.6s] OK, I'm singing as I. [2790.9s] Um, just use your stealth if Rex doesn't have. [2795.9s] Myself? [2796.6s] Yeah. [2797.0s] OK, so then that's actually a 19. [2800.0s] Surprisingly for the Goliath on the armored horse. [2803.6s] I mean, this is not your first time. [2809.1s] I also got a 19. [2811.1s] Oh, I got a 16. [2813.0s] I'm yelling at the top of my lungs as I fly. [2815.5s] I love the feeling of the wind in my hair. [2818.6s] I rolled a one. [2820.7s] I missed right in my giant snowy owl. [2823.7s] I have a plus. [2824.9s] I have a plus two, so it doesn't matter. [2827.7s] Wait, wait, wait. [2828.3s] Aren't you lucky? [2830.6s] Wasn't somebody saying they were going to be lucky? [2832.6s] I'm so lucky, Kristin. [2835.5s] That Kristin is here to remind you how lucky you are. [2839.9s] I'm going to take a lucky action. [2843.0s] Thanks, Kristin. [2843.8s] They never remember that they can do. [2844.6s] And I rolled a 12, which is now a 14, which is like 13 times better. [2849.6s] Better than it was before. [2852.5s] OK, we'll say you all make it to the west where it begins to thin out. [2859.0s] It's like, you know, four or five undead deep rather than like 50 deep. [2866.6s] Oh, yeah. [2867.5s] Yeah. [2868.2s] Easy peasy. [2868.8s] It's like petering off as far as your scouting mission. [2872.0s] Yen Bull, I assume maybe you are flying close because you're the most controlled. [2877.1s] Sure. [2877.7s] OK, well, a big owl, not as controlled as an individual deciding where they're flying. [2884.6s] I mean, I do it like Superman, but weirdly, like I'm Jesus. [2887.9s] Like, you know how he flies, like, you know. [2891.6s] I'm sorry. [2892.0s] Does Jesus fly, Carla? [2894.4s] Sure. [2895.1s] I'm just curious. [2897.5s] I mean, I don't this is probably not the place to get into that. [2903.5s] Depends on your denomination. [2904.9s] Sometimes Jesus flies. [2907.8s] Flies in a Jesus-like position where Jesus, you know. [2911.8s] Yes, now I get it. [2912.6s] Not Jesus is flying like Jesus. [2914.9s] Flowing down after he's done something impressive. [2916.1s] You know when it's really being a Christ analogy like that. [2920.9s] Yeah. [2921.2s] Totally. [2921.8s] Exactly. [2922.9s] OK, Yen Bull, you Jesus fly over to the wall. [2928.8s] And the closer you get, you can begin to see through the veil. [2933.5s] And you look down around the ground and you see more hilly and some rocky terrain. [2945.0s] Closer to where the mass of the horde is, you see that there is a guard or a sentinel group [2955.4s] positioned higher up on a rocky cliff face. [2959.8s] And as things are kind of tearing through, you see arrows loose towards them. [2968.0s] So you see probably three or four people, humanoid people. [2972.6s] How far are they from me? [2974.9s] Or how close can I get to them through the wall? [2977.9s] I mean, you're probably would have had to go down a fair ways, like 200, 300 feet. [2982.6s] Yeah, so I'd have to go back to where that mass of undead is to be closer. [2987.4s] If you wanted to draw their attention yet, you'd have to make your way back that way. [2991.7s] And there are flying things more present over there that you haven't fortunately tripped. [2997.7s] OK, I'm going to file that away. [3002.1s] Well, I guess I'm not going to file that away. [3003.8s] I'm going to tell my friends, I think I can do that psychically. [3008.9s] So I don't need to come down. [3011.0s] Look at all this frivolous magic, Kristen. [3013.0s] Jeez. [3013.8s] But it's not spells. [3015.8s] These aren't spells. [3017.4s] No, they're paranoid. I love it. [3019.7s] We are paranoid. [3022.5s] It's just an ability that I have. [3026.4s] Yes, I can speak telepathically. [3029.0s] So I share this information that there is guards on the other side, back down, [3034.9s] you know, all that stuff you just said. [3036.7s] What can I see kind of where we are through just rolling hills? [3041.9s] Yeah, the rolling hills just continue. [3043.6s] There are a couple of cliffy rock faces. [3046.1s] That's a thing, right? [3047.7s] Beautiful. I love it. [3048.8s] Devocative. [3050.3s] Are the cliffy rock faces verdant or are they dead? [3054.8s] Is there living things on them? [3056.7s] Yes, there appears to be life beyond this veil. [3060.4s] OK, I'm going to kind of go back to where my friends are. [3065.0s] On the other side, there are trees and life. [3070.3s] Really? [3071.8s] It does seem to be some kind of refuge. [3077.7s] OK. [3080.2s] Well, we've got to get in there, obviously. [3083.4s] I mean, we did before, but I'm standing like a drug addict. [3087.0s] Guys, we just got to get to the green. [3089.8s] I need to fix those sweet trees. [3091.2s] I'm going to smell that sweet grass. [3094.9s] But yeah, we should probably... [3098.2s] Was there anything else you noticed? [3099.8s] So you said that there were guards there? [3102.2s] Yes, but not close here. [3104.5s] So they are protecting against breaches, [3107.8s] but I don't know if we will count as a breach. [3111.0s] Should I just go try to touch the wall? [3114.0s] Yeah, I guess there's only really the one way to find out. [3116.4s] I agree. [3117.1s] I'm going to try and touch the wall. [3119.8s] I'm going to follow behind her and not touch the wall, [3124.2s] but just be there in case something horrible happens to her. [3126.4s] Well, what if I blow back and you need to catch me? [3128.2s] Sure, for sure. [3129.0s] It's nice of you. [3129.8s] Yeah, I'm concerned. [3131.7s] I gently just reach out my hand. [3135.4s] Okay. [3136.2s] You reach out your hand and you feel like a warm glow the closer you get to it. [3141.8s] And like I said, the closer you get to it, [3145.0s] it becomes more translucent, [3146.4s] less like just rainbow colors floating through. [3150.2s] And you feel like you've gotten to a point [3154.0s] where you should be touching something, [3156.1s] but you are moving. [3158.9s] You continue to move forward. [3160.5s] Okay. [3160.9s] Well, I'm going to keep moving forward if I can. [3163.0s] Yeah. [3163.6s] Tentatively. [3164.6s] You slowly move through until like this, [3168.2s] this color begins to envelop you [3170.2s] and then you break through on the other side. [3173.8s] It's cold, like frigid, cold air, [3180.5s] but it's clean air. [3182.2s] It's crisp. [3183.8s] It smells fresh. [3185.4s] I turn to my friends to see if I can still see them [3190.2s] or they can see me and we can. [3192.6s] Yeah, sorry, Thea, as you go up, [3194.3s] you too would be able to see through [3195.8s] and you see Yenbul proceed through this wall [3198.6s] and like turn around to look towards you. [3201.0s] And beckon. [3201.7s] To one of these and wave to each other. [3203.6s] No, just beckon. [3205.6s] Okay. [3206.0s] Then, well, I fly back to a goth. [3211.0s] They made it through. [3212.9s] I don't think anyone shot arrows at them. [3216.6s] Do you think you can get through the undead extravaganza down there? [3221.8s] I've seen more extravagant extravaganza. [3225.8s] Yeah, you have. [3226.8s] I am optimistic. [3229.8s] I'm happy to help if you think you need a hand. [3232.7s] I, on the other side, have dug into my bag [3234.8s] and I'm getting all of the clothes I have with me [3237.0s] because I'm from the desert. [3238.7s] And Leosin did warn me [3240.7s] that I should bring some warm clothing [3242.9s] and boy do I need it. [3244.7s] Now you're layering up. [3245.8s] I'm not equipped for that. [3246.8s] Yes. [3248.2s] All right, maybe we can hang back [3252.0s] and if a goth, do you need us? [3256.1s] Would you like us to like help clear the way with you? [3260.2s] Or you would go it alone kind of gal? [3263.1s] I would not deny any compatriots the joy of battle. [3268.3s] Okay, let's, let's do this thing. [3271.8s] To the horde we ride and also fly. [3274.4s] With that you take off down this cliff face [3277.8s] and charge toward the horde. [3280.2s] I assume you're going to let a goth kind of lead that charge [3283.2s] and then very much so because if there's trouble [3286.2s] then we can come in and help and if not. [3288.6s] Great. [3289.2s] I just want to be like ready with my bow and arrow. [3292.0s] Yeah, how are you, [3293.3s] are you just charging through with your horse [3295.6s] or do you have a weapon drawn? [3297.4s] How are you breaking through at least the first few undead? [3301.1s] So building up as much speed as possible on the way down [3308.2s] sort of hunched over Rex's neck [3310.9s] sort of sitting high in the saddle. [3313.6s] Shield on one arm. [3314.7s] I'm going to pull the mace in the other [3316.9s] and like stay silent as long as possible [3319.2s] because I think they're sort of focused on the wall. [3324.5s] Just like that. [3325.0s] But at the last minute I think you know [3327.4s] the joy kind of overtakes her [3329.0s] and she'll just like let out a giant scream [3332.2s] as she like just barrels into them. [3335.0s] And I mean he's a charger. [3337.1s] He's like a half demonic warhorse. [3339.6s] So like we trample the first few for sure [3344.1s] and just I'm just going to like [3346.0s] it's like playing T-ball with the mace. [3351.9s] Heads. [3354.1s] This massive horse and goliath are charging through [3357.8s] and heads are flying [3359.9s] and then you see a goth reach the wall [3365.9s] and it begins to light up. [3370.2s] It didn't do this when Yenbul charged through. [3375.0s] Like the horse hits this wall [3377.5s] and flames begin shooting out and around. [3382.3s] She continues to charge forward [3384.6s] and Yenbul you see like this horse [3388.7s] and a goth you would see it too. [3391.0s] Like the flesh begin to bubble [3395.9s] and you feel like you hit like quicksand. [3401.0s] Like you slow a lot [3403.8s] and you feel the undead grasping [3406.7s] for your horse behind you [3408.3s] and kind of pulling through with you [3410.8s] as you are continuing your momentum [3413.3s] as much as you can through. [3415.1s] And Yenbul you hear the whistling sound [3419.8s] of an arrow flying through the air towards you. [3487.0s] Have a great week. [3488.1s] We'll talk again soon. [3492.0s] I want it like... [3494.6s] Amy wants to have some like [3496.3s] Rick Grimes like questions for her. [3498.2s] Like how many people have you killed? [3505.6s] Right. [3505.9s] There aren't enough fingers. [3509.8s] Are you, I don't know, [3510.9s] this is going to sound stupid, [3512.0s] but the whole world is completely fucked up. [3514.2s] Are you a good person? [3516.6s] In the background of all of this, [3517.8s] can you have like the elevator doors closed, [3520.6s] get stuck on whatever she has, [3522.0s] ding, open back up, [3523.8s] close, jam on it, ding, open back up. [3527.0s] Was anyone else picturing like [3528.6s] when Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, [3530.5s] when they go to the mall [3531.5s] and all the historical figures [3532.8s] are like amazed by them all? [3534.1s] Because that's what I was picturing. [3535.6s] Yeah, that's perfect. [3539.6s] I didn't even remember I was a cleric. [3543.9s] You were the one who said [3544.9s] you were a cleric at the beginning [3546.3s] and I was like, [3547.1s] damn, I didn't say my character's pronouns [3549.5s] or what she was or does. [3552.9s] What she was or does? [3557.7s] Elf druid, fuck. [3561.0s] It's okay, Tom didn't say it either, [3562.5s] only I did. [3564.3s] And then I apparently forgot. [3565.8s] Jump back, who the fuck is this? [3568.1s] Now we're back again. [3569.4s] I see what's happening. [3570.6s] Yeah, really Tarantino-ing this for us. [3574.6s] Well, I didn't want there to be any question [3576.6s] why you had to bring this character along. [3578.2s] Character's already there. [3579.7s] It's true. [3580.4s] I like it. [3581.0s] Perfect. [3581.3s] How we get there is up to us. [3582.1s] It's just how you said yes, [3583.0s] not if you say yes. [3584.6s] Dumbgeons & Dragons is a Dumb Dragons production.
