[0.0s] previously on Dumbgeons and Dragons. [2.2s] Hi, guys. My name is Dents. How you doing? [5.5s] Not too bad, Dents. Why don't you pull up a stool? [8.4s] I think I've heard this term before. It's called a troop. [12.5s] Well, I mean, I don't know if we have the same skills. [16.9s] You have to perform and entertain. I mean, really what we're doing, [21.4s] we're heading to Tamanthir. [23.0s] I like Tamanthir. I really do. [26.8s] Dents pulls the sword out, and it actually kind of looks [30.9s] more majestic with blood coming off of it. [34.3s] Aw, man. Thank you so much for saving me with your beautiful sword. [37.3s] I've got to protect my friends. [39.2s] Well, we don't just want a troll attack, if that's what happens, and them to be asleep. [44.4s] A lot of times trolls like to be the first one, [47.5s] and they'll let people know that they're first by saying first. [51.6s] So maybe that troll is talking to other trolls in the tree line. [56.6s] You walk all the way over to the other side, [59.4s] and as you pass over and step onto the rocky mountainous terrain, [65.5s] you hear from underneath the bridge, first. [71.6s] Damn it. I think it's one of those damn trolls [74.2s] who always needs to say that they see something first. [76.3s] Ooh, hey. Hey, guys. You guys look so great over there. [80.9s] I'm going to come over now. [82.8s] Dents, you walk across, bouncing suspension bridge, [86.7s] step up onto the stone, fifth. Okay, bye. [94.3s] You crash over a large hill and see the tip of a large pyramid [99.7s] off in the distance alongside the massive methwood forest. [112.8s] Welcome to Dumbgeons and Dragons. [126.9s] I'm your Dungeon Master Russ More, and with me today is Tom Laird. [130.8s] Hey, that's me. First out of the gate. [132.4s] I play Moot, and he is a half-orc, wild magic sorcerer. [136.7s] And Amy More. [138.6s] I'll be out of the gate, but only if you have that plushy rabbit [143.1s] that will be thrown quickly in front of me. [145.8s] And I play Sullivan's Light. [147.8s] And Carla Maxden. [149.6s] That's me. I play Glim, a dragonborn pAlydin. [154.9s] And joining us again this week from Discovery Debrief, [158.0s] Incompreh... Oh, shit. [160.2s] Nailed it. [160.9s] Incomparable Podcast Network, [163.6s] voiceover artist and elite dangerous commander Stubby Stan. [168.4s] It's Cicero Holmes. Welcome back. [170.2s] Thank you for joining us. [172.0s] Thank you for having me. [173.4s] I am also out of the gate, but that gate is spelled G-A-I-T, [178.0s] so I'm walking very weirdly right now. [180.2s] I like it. [181.0s] Are we talking like bone like it? [183.8s] Well, actually, we're talking about my character, Dense, [188.0s] who is a bird creature that I can't pronounce, but Russ can. [192.0s] Eric Okra. [193.5s] There you go, who is very tall, but walks really short. [199.1s] He scrunches down, not unlike someone else on this podcast. [206.1s] And his gate, as a result of how he walks, is out of the gate. [213.8s] I love it. [214.5s] I'm feeling real attacks on my posture here. [217.7s] Also, from now on, all I can think, because it sounded like you said Eric Okra. [224.2s] Eric Okra. [225.0s] Okay, now it sounds like there's some guy out there named Eric Okra. [229.0s] Yes, Eric Okra. [230.5s] Eric Okra. [233.3s] He's got a bit of a slimy texture, but if you cook him down enough. [236.9s] It's a muciligen. [237.6s] Cook him down enough, yeah, exactly. [239.1s] Put him in a stew. [239.8s] You fry that? [240.9s] Oh, yeah, you do. [241.8s] I picture Eric Okra as like Eric Estrada's bastard son, [245.6s] who's going to star in the sequel to Chip someday. [257.8s] This is good. [258.9s] Hey, after these episodes, we do our dumbest downtime, where we debrief, [263.0s] and then patrons get to hear it. [264.5s] So we would love for you to hear that by joining us at Patreon.com slash dumb dragon cast. [268.7s] And when you are a patron, you get an episode dedicated to you, [271.4s] like today's patron, Tim Weaver. [274.0s] Thanks, Tim. [275.4s] Thanks, Tim. [276.4s] Thank you so much. [278.2s] And now, fuck it, let's play. [281.1s] Shit, yeah. [289.8s] We're going to pick up right where we left off. [292.3s] The foreview plus Rolf is crested over a hill, [295.9s] and you see off in the distance this majestic pyramid [299.4s] at the edge of the meth wood forest. [301.9s] Guys, the pointiest building I've ever seen. [304.3s] Guys, you don't even know. [305.4s] It's not even just a building. [307.2s] It's the whole town. [309.4s] Whoa, what? [309.9s] Like the whole thing's in there. [310.9s] You'll see when we get closer, and there's like, [312.9s] But they're going to like slide down and stuff. [315.9s] How do they put a whole town in there? [317.5s] Are there little like mouth holes? [319.5s] Are these people really small? [321.1s] Well, no, I think when we get closer, [323.2s] it's just a perspective right now. [324.9s] When we get closer, you'll see that it's actually very, very big. [328.6s] I think. [329.7s] I mean, it's possible we go through [331.0s] some sort of shrink tunnel on our way there. [332.7s] No one mentioned that. [334.5s] So I don't think that's the case. [335.6s] I think we just. [336.3s] So it's like hollow on the inside. [338.4s] Yeah. [339.4s] And people live there, and there's like. [341.4s] Like cave people. [342.3s] No, no, no, just just normal people, [345.8s] people like me, probably lots of people like me. [348.6s] So it's an upside down Mount Ant Hill? [351.5s] Well, I think it's a right way up Ant Hill, sort of, isn't it? [354.6s] Oh, yes, yes, the Ant Hill is down below the hill part. [367.8s] The hill part is just an open. [370.5s] I see. [370.9s] Are you telling me that people live underground underneath this [374.3s] and this is just how they get out of the ground? [377.0s] Oh, oh, so are they ants? [381.0s] I don't think the people are like ants, [385.2s] nor are they the size of ants. [387.4s] But to be honest, it's my first time. [390.6s] But if Glim had to choose, who would she kill first? [396.5s] Who would she kill first? [397.6s] And and why wouldn't it be Sullivan? [404.9s] The closer you get, obviously, [407.4s] the larger the pyramid becomes. [411.6s] Thank you for explaining that. [414.2s] Is it obvious, Russ? [415.8s] Fair enough. [416.4s] You know what? [416.8s] I wrote this down and I was like, [418.2s] I'm never going to need this. [420.3s] Joke's on me. [423.4s] I needed this exact paragraph that described how perspective works. [427.6s] So we all gather around the godlike voice [430.7s] sitting crisscross applesauce listening to this description. [434.7s] Um, you don't quite realize, however, how large it is at a distance. [439.8s] But the closer you get, you realize it stands 460 meters tall, [444.4s] which is 1500 feet. [447.1s] Imperial for the win. [449.3s] That's right. [450.3s] Take that. [452.0s] You pass through bountiful farmer's fields and see rich estates. [457.8s] Dragonborn tending their crops. [460.6s] Look up as you pass. [463.6s] Catch sight of you and give a small wave from the distance. [469.1s] What is running through Glim's mind right now? [472.3s] I think Glim is super excited for many reasons. [477.0s] Like, number one, we're almost here where she can declare herself [480.8s] and like get on with the business of saving the world whenever that happens [484.4s] or however it presents itself. [485.8s] But this is the next step in that journey. [488.7s] But also, I think it's just exciting [491.5s] because there's just lots of Dragonborn here, right? [495.3s] And so she grew up kind of in an enclave of Dragonborn, [498.0s] but that was like, you know, 50 or 100 people. [501.8s] And this seems like a whole civilization of people that look like her, [506.0s] which is pretty exciting. [507.8s] Are you like walking alongside the cart and like alongside Rolf kind of? [513.5s] As we're going through, are you inside the cart? [516.7s] I imagine walking beside it. [518.5s] For some reason, I feel like, well, not for some reason. [523.1s] Certainly Glim likes to not sit. [526.6s] She wants to be active. [528.2s] And so right now, she's also very excited. [530.3s] So probably, yeah, is walking beside the cart for sure. [534.4s] Sullivan's like totally comes over and like puts his elbows [539.1s] on the edge of the cart because he's inside. [541.4s] He's definitely not walking. [543.4s] He'd be like 400 feet back. [546.5s] And he's got his head on his arms. [549.0s] And then he's like, hey, Glim, I got a question for you. [552.9s] So like, we never asked you this before, [555.2s] but I feel like we know each other really well enough now [557.8s] that we could probably like breach this topic. [560.9s] So are you like Bahamut's baby? [567.3s] Well, I kept it straight so long. [569.4s] The mood is a little like smack to Sully's. [573.8s] Well, no, it's like honestly, though, like, OK, [576.5s] so you got two moms back at your home. [579.4s] That much I know. [580.2s] You talk about it a lot, which is great. [583.6s] Those of us who wish we had parents wish we had two moms, too. [587.4s] But they're not your real moms. [591.2s] You were left there as a baby. [594.5s] So will you find your moms here or are you Bahamut's baby? [602.0s] I'm just trying to piece it all together. [604.3s] Oh, I mean, so mom and mama, I mean, they, [607.4s] yeah, they weren't my biological parents, [610.2s] but they are my parents. [612.4s] But I hadn't intended to seek out, you know, [616.8s] my biological family. [618.3s] I'm not sure that they're from here. [620.8s] But I mean, in a way of speaking, [623.4s] I'm not like Bahamut didn't have a baby and it was me. [627.0s] But I am, you know, like a descendant of Bahamut. [636.2s] OK. [637.2s] Not in the way that, like, we're all children of Bahamut [640.6s] because, you know, I mean, you've heard me preach before. [643.2s] You know what I'm talking about. [644.1s] We're all children of Bahamut. [645.4s] We've heard it. [646.2s] Well, I'm a child of Bahamut. [648.8s] Mut is definitely. [650.3s] Mut is, Dan's a child. [651.4s] We're all children of Bahamut. [652.7s] Dan's probably, yeah. [654.5s] So not in that sort of intangible faith way, [657.4s] but in like a real sort of more tangible maybe. [661.2s] So he's like a great uncle or something [663.7s] or like a great, great, great, great, great, great, [667.1s] great, great, great, great, great, great, [672.4s] probably like real great, like probably a few more greats. [675.6s] Like grandpa? [677.7s] Yeah, I think so. [679.7s] I mean, I'm just referring to like the small bit [683.2s] of information that I found out about who had left me [686.9s] and who I was when I was left with my mom. [690.5s] Well, yeah. [691.2s] Well, because I was just thinking [692.5s] because since we're here and everything [694.2s] and you're all going to like, like, you know, [697.5s] like, you know, accept Bahamut and choose a path [701.0s] and save the world. [701.9s] And the path. [703.1s] Absolutely. [703.9s] Then you might also want to find this out. [705.6s] Like, I don't know how often you're going to be here. [707.8s] It took us a real long time just saying. [709.8s] Not that I'm saying we're not going to come back [711.4s] if you do decide to like, you know, look this stuff up. [714.3s] I just I don't know. [715.4s] Moot, stop me from talking. [717.9s] Yeah. [718.2s] Look over there, Sully. [722.1s] Sully for sure looks. [725.4s] That's a little side. [726.5s] I love watching Cicero's face through this whole thing. [729.4s] There was this moment of like, what the fuck? [736.2s] Are we walking into a child of God moment? [738.6s] What is a little bit, but only on Carla's behalf. [749.8s] That's good. [752.2s] You carry on a ways and look back to the hulking structure [756.0s] before you and you begin to see it more clearly. [758.8s] It was a bit hazy before. [761.7s] But Glim, being that you're paying the most attention [765.3s] to what you're walking towards, [766.6s] you see now like carved out of it, [769.8s] there are giant holes carved or blown [773.9s] out of the sides of this pyramid. [776.0s] The stonework is crumbling and falling apart in pieces. [780.2s] And from a distance, it looked pristine, [783.3s] but the closer you get to it, [784.6s] you see that there is damage to the pyramid structure [789.4s] as you walk towards it. [791.0s] You know, I guess in my mind, [792.4s] I always pictured it as being totally pristine, [794.8s] but it's kind of, it's a bit shabby. [800.5s] Like a crap pile? [801.8s] Well, I guess one way of putting it, [809.4s] I was going to say comfortably worn in. [815.7s] Well, it's probably pretty ancient. [817.6s] So, you know, these things, they wear over time. [820.8s] Or it's been under attack. [822.7s] Oh, maybe that, yeah. [824.0s] Oh, does it look like it's been under attack? [826.4s] The damage goes kind of both ways. [829.3s] It looks like maybe they were just worn to time. [833.1s] Like much of the crumbling around like the points [836.5s] or the edges look more time-worn. [840.3s] However, the holes look like an equal amount of [843.9s] like blown in and blown out of the pyramid. [848.7s] And is it like covered? [851.4s] Are they mole people in there? [854.0s] Or is it all kind of windows? [856.0s] I know they're not mole people. [857.3s] No, she needs to know. [859.0s] I'm just trying to picture what it, [860.6s] because people live in there. [861.8s] So there must be like, it is in each of the steps, [865.0s] it is sort of like open to, [868.0s] there's daylight in there, right? [869.4s] Oh, that's, that actually is a good question. [871.7s] So is it, is it an Egyptian pyramid? [875.0s] Or is it a South American Aztec? [877.8s] Yeah, more Mayan. [879.4s] Or an Incan Mayan pyramid. [881.8s] I picture it as more of an Egyptian pyramid. [886.1s] So there are fewer steps as there were not really [891.4s] any kind of delineation from one level of the pyramid [896.5s] to the next level. [897.4s] Exactly, yes. [898.7s] And as far as any sort of window, [901.0s] aside from the holes blown in, [903.5s] it looks like it was at least built [907.4s] as complete stone from top to bottom. [910.6s] Well then, are ant slash mole people ideas? [916.8s] We are the underminers. [919.4s] Yes. [921.7s] Well, I can see clearly now, [923.3s] because the fog is gone. [928.1s] But I can see a lot of debris is in the way. [933.8s] I mean, gone are the sharp corners [936.6s] that had this as a pyramid. [939.2s] And I can see things have been blown, [942.9s] blown, blown this way and that way. [945.8s] So I've been holding on to that for a while. [949.8s] I really just had to let it out. [951.8s] But can you see the obstacles in your way? [955.3s] Well, yeah, it's all this debris [956.6s] that's on the ground from, [958.2s] because it looks like if I had to make a guess, [960.6s] there are probably pirates in there, right? [962.6s] Because like with cannons, [964.2s] just like blowing out the side. [966.4s] And there was maybe like an airship [968.6s] that had like pulled up alongside it. [972.4s] I'm just extrapolating here. [974.6s] Write this down, moot. [978.4s] All it says is Sully's extrapolating? [987.0s] This is what we call in the bard business, [992.6s] as spitballing. [995.7s] I mean, I should have become a bard, [998.8s] but instead I have a terrible past. [1001.9s] Now it's not the time, it's Glimstone. [1007.7s] Sully doesn't reveal his dark past. [1009.9s] Not yet, it's not about me right now. [1011.8s] It's not about you. [1013.8s] You're continuing forward. [1015.7s] Up ahead, you see a pair of dragonborn [1019.2s] leading a horse-drawn cart [1021.4s] coming up the path towards you. [1023.4s] Last time we had a cart driving up towards us, [1025.6s] we accidentally blew it up. [1026.8s] So we should probably take a different route. [1028.1s] Let's hope it goes better this time. [1029.2s] Maybe don't let Sully leave. [1031.7s] Accidentally, little bit on purpose, [1033.8s] totally blew it up. [1034.8s] Okay, I'm going to approach them and say, [1039.2s] hello, are you citizens here? [1043.2s] Yes, yes, we are. [1047.1s] Are you? [1049.8s] Is everything okay? [1051.1s] Everything's wonderful. [1052.0s] It's my first time here. [1053.3s] Wonderful, welcome. [1058.3s] No, it's okay. [1060.0s] You have more questions than I do. [1062.7s] Please carry on. [1063.6s] There's just a lot of cutoff, half-sentences. [1066.7s] I'm purely for exposition. [1068.2s] Please continue asking me questions. [1074.7s] I told you to find out who the robot is. [1077.5s] Right. [1078.7s] You haven't selected which one in the role-playing game. [1082.2s] I asked them a question. [1085.9s] We've just arrived. [1086.8s] I'm looking for the Citadel. [1091.4s] The dragonborn before you, [1093.1s] who is a deep red-scaled dragonborn, [1096.6s] they have a brown vest [1100.0s] and black work pants [1103.1s] that are kind of a bit tattered and torn. [1105.8s] It looks behind them and says, [1109.8s] yep, that's right. [1112.1s] Oh, the whole thing. [1113.9s] The whole thing is what you call the Citadel. [1116.2s] Oh my goodness. [1117.5s] I mean, Citadel's a large term. [1120.6s] I mean, that's the city. [1124.6s] When you specifically say Citadel, [1126.5s] what is it you're referring to? [1128.5s] Well, say you had to go somewhere to swear an oath. [1132.5s] Okay. [1133.7s] Where would you go, Injurad the Marr? [1138.6s] Who are we othing to? [1140.6s] Oh, I mean Bahamad, of course. [1142.6s] Oh, of course, of course. [1144.6s] Well, inside the city, [1150.1s] there are countless religious outfits, [1154.1s] some Citadels, some churches. [1157.1s] But are they all Bahamaniacs? [1160.3s] I'm sorry? [1161.5s] I'm sorry? [1163.8s] Are they all Bah... [1165.8s] Did I say it wrong? [1166.6s] Bahamanians, Bahamations. [1169.8s] They're not all beholden to Bahamut specifically. [1173.8s] No, we accept several religions. [1178.3s] Cool, but not all of them? [1180.2s] I think the term is Bahamatics. [1183.6s] Bahamatics. [1184.7s] That sounds right. [1185.8s] Yeah, that just feels right in the mouth. [1187.8s] Of course. [1189.0s] Again, not all beholden to Bahamut, [1191.8s] but Bahamut has a Citadel within the city. [1195.5s] Yes, I'm sure you could go there. [1198.6s] And any other sites you'd recommend? [1200.7s] If you were just here for a few days, [1202.8s] what would you pop in on? [1204.6s] Beside your birth parents. [1207.3s] Oh, a lot to unpack there. [1211.6s] You see the Dragonborn you're speaking to kind of whisper, [1216.0s] and then the other Dragonborn shakes her head. [1220.4s] Okay, good. [1223.7s] Honey? [1227.6s] I don't know about the birth parents. [1230.4s] It depends what kind of scene you're in for. [1234.9s] Zumba for sure. [1236.0s] What's Zumba? [1237.6s] You don't have Zumba here? [1240.1s] No. [1240.3s] Ah, glad you got your work cut out for you here. [1242.6s] Okay, well, I'll definitely be putting a class together [1244.8s] before I go. [1245.6s] So I guess maybe just watch for flyers or something [1249.0s] in the next few days. [1250.6s] Well, what do you guys think? [1251.7s] What would you like to see? [1253.8s] Dens, are you into like a club scene [1257.0s] or something more low-key? [1259.8s] Maybe you follow a faith? [1261.2s] I'm always going on and on about mine [1263.0s] and never letting anybody else get a word in about theirs. [1266.3s] Well, I did go to Bard College, [1271.2s] so if there is a place where [1277.8s] bards go or where people go to listen to bards, [1283.7s] I can go there. [1284.9s] So more of the club scene then. [1286.6s] Yeah, we'd like to see some bards. [1288.6s] Bards are great. [1290.5s] Great. [1291.4s] Well, plus you got to like get out here, right? [1293.8s] It's what you're here for. [1294.6s] You're going to make a name for yourself. [1295.9s] Like you said, it's a gig economy. [1297.4s] You've got to be hustling all the time. [1299.2s] Got to get those silvers. [1302.0s] There you go. [1302.6s] Yeah, phosphate. [1305.4s] Excuse me, Dragonborns, do you guys have silvers? [1310.4s] I mean, I know you have coppers, [1312.8s] but I prefer the silvers. [1315.8s] Yes, yes, we have all sorts of different currency here. [1321.5s] You don't need to give it to him right now. [1322.9s] He's not robbing you. [1324.2s] No, I didn't think he was robbing me. [1326.2s] Oh, but maybe you could perform right now. [1328.4s] Get the ward out. [1331.0s] Oh, well, yeah. [1334.0s] Well, it could tell you. [1336.0s] It could tell you the story about the trolls. [1338.4s] Oh, we do love them. [1339.8s] Do you want to hear the story about the trolls? [1342.7s] Spoiler alert. [1343.6s] It involves fire, both their like and dislike of it. [1348.7s] You know, it's trolls or likes and dislikes. [1350.5s] But this true, for one troll, he had really high hair. [1361.9s] And then he sang this song that was the song of the summer. [1367.5s] It was really great. [1368.5s] How did it go? [1370.0s] In just a rough tune, off key a little bit. [1372.9s] Can't stop the feeling. [1374.6s] Yeah, there it is. [1376.5s] Oh, my goodness. [1381.0s] You know what? [1381.4s] DreamWorks, please don't sue us. [1383.0s] They reach into their satchel and they toss you a silver. [1386.5s] That's well worth a silver. [1388.5s] Well, especially you hear how high his voice got. [1390.9s] Man, that's awesome. [1392.0s] Surprising based on the low vocalizations off the top there. [1397.5s] Well, yes, I am a bird, so I have a multi-octave range. [1406.9s] He's like one of those mimics. [1409.0s] Oh, well, I am insulted. [1413.9s] I am not a mimic. [1414.8s] No, no, you're not a mimic. [1416.3s] You can mimic like a mockery. [1419.2s] Oh, but does that make me a mimic? [1424.4s] I don't. [1425.8s] If I can. [1428.5s] Oh, no. [1430.2s] Have I been a mimic this entire time? [1432.2s] Doesn't a mimic know they're a mimic, though? [1437.6s] Do you have any other questions regarding the city? [1442.9s] Having this existential crisis in front of these strangers. [1448.0s] No, I guess I'll look for a citadel. [1450.0s] We need to get the name of the best place to see the best bards. [1455.4s] Oh, yes. [1456.1s] Yeah, sorry. [1457.3s] Just remember, I mean, you'll hear it when you come in, [1460.4s] but just remember out of the way. [1465.1s] Just remember that. [1466.6s] It'll come clear and you'll just know. [1469.6s] I don't think you're a mimic. [1471.4s] But now I'm not so sure. [1472.8s] And I think we walk on. [1473.8s] I can't believe these poor, poor people behind us. [1475.8s] Thank you so much, it was so nice to meet you. [1477.7s] Lovely. [1480.9s] You approach the city and there are several of these blown out holes [1487.4s] in the pyramid lower down, [1489.0s] but the path leads up to a wide ramp that you can determine [1494.1s] was the one and only entrance to the pyramid at one point. [1498.7s] On the way up, though, Sullivan's light is totally like, [1502.9s] gosh, my days as a fire marshal, [1508.5s] one entrance, one exit, [1509.9s] it seems like really just like bad news BS. [1512.7s] You enter into what looks like a marketplace within this pyramid. [1519.1s] There are large stone arches going down this entire level [1524.4s] that you can make of it. [1525.8s] You hear music playing somewhere in the distance. [1530.7s] It's got a heavy bassy beat to it with a mix of pop and rock [1536.9s] that just, it's just perfect. [1540.8s] Does it seem like it's a bit out of the way? [1542.8s] The song or the distance? [1544.1s] The distance. [1545.4s] I mean, the distance is where you make it. [1549.0s] No, I mean, it sounds like it's coming from everywhere [1551.5s] and nowhere at the same time, but. [1554.2s] Is the song that's playing is Dragonborn in the USA? [1561.3s] It has a, there's a, you can, you can, [1564.3s] it's just almost like you can place it. [1567.3s] I came in like a Dragonborn. [1571.2s] Dragonborn this way? [1573.0s] You know what? [1573.8s] It's a medley mashup is what it is. [1575.9s] As you listen longer, it's all of these pop hits. [1580.2s] It's like a cabaret. [1581.4s] That's right. [1582.7s] All over top of each other. [1584.8s] Dragonborn cabaret. [1586.1s] There we go. [1587.0s] I would pay to see that. [1588.4s] Yep. [1588.9s] Amy would pay money, real human money, not silvers and golds. [1593.9s] The marketplace is busy. [1595.4s] There are many, I mean, from what you can tell so far, [1600.6s] solely Dragonborn throughout this entire floor, [1604.3s] conducting business and shopping and moving about. [1607.4s] What do you do? [1608.2s] Where do you go? [1608.9s] What do you want to see? [1610.2s] I think I'm like delighted because everything is my size. [1615.0s] You know, like all of the like places selling clothing or armor [1618.9s] or all the stuff is like just, just, [1621.8s] I just feel like I'm just normal height here, [1623.9s] which isn't normally the case necessarily. [1626.5s] I'm pretty tall normally. [1627.6s] Stand out quite a bit. [1628.7s] Meanwhile, Sullivan's slight is feeling quite diminished. [1634.7s] Dense is just kind of following along, [1638.6s] just kind of looking at all of the things [1641.9s] and he's seen a lot of marketplaces. [1644.7s] He's reminded of the co-op that he worked at [1648.1s] to get the discount food. [1651.1s] And he realizes that this place is so much grander [1656.8s] than that marketplace that he worked at. [1661.1s] And he's secretly jealous that he wasn't working here as a co-op [1666.2s] because he would have had so many more choices. [1670.8s] So he may actually be looking around [1673.7s] to see if there is someone who seems like they're a manager [1678.1s] or someone of some renown and rank [1684.3s] to see if there are opportunities to. [1687.2s] Maybe some help wanted signs on different stalls. [1691.6s] Are you looking? [1692.4s] It is the gig economy. [1694.0s] Always got to be looking. [1695.7s] Are you looking at any specific type of merchant [1699.1s] or just in general? [1701.4s] So yeah, so he's looking not necessarily [1705.5s] for a type of merchant. [1707.4s] He is looking more in general to see what is happening. [1712.5s] He is looking over at the produce people first, [1718.2s] the people that have the vegetables and what have you. [1720.5s] But he's looking around to see [1723.5s] who seems to be crowded and overworked. [1728.4s] Well, that's a very astute type of thing for Dense to do. [1734.8s] Dense knows when work needs to be done. [1737.8s] Hey man, you look like someone who gets it done. [1741.0s] Well, I have to or else they kick me out. [1744.6s] Yeah, you're looking at one of these. [1746.2s] There are a couple of different grocers [1747.9s] or produce marketplaces and you look over [1751.2s] and you see one where there's a single, [1754.7s] that was not the one I was going to pick, but okay. [1758.6s] Just looking at the name generator [1760.0s] and picking the hardest one on it. [1761.6s] There's so many vowels, you guys. [1764.0s] There's so many U's in this name. [1768.1s] I'm sorry, I pulled that page up. [1773.2s] You don't see anybody. [1774.1s] No, it's fine. [1776.4s] Everyone's full up. [1777.7s] Everyone's full up. [1778.3s] No vacancies for employment. [1780.2s] No, you look over at one of these produce [1782.0s] and you do see one where it looks busy. [1785.0s] It looks like there are people lined up, [1786.5s] but you only see one person working behind [1788.7s] the quote unquote till area. [1791.9s] Okay, so what he does is he immediately [1798.9s] walks over, walks behind the counter [1802.2s] and he goes, next up. [1806.5s] And sorry, I said person. [1807.5s] I meant Dragonborn. [1808.5s] That was kind of clear. [1810.2s] But yeah, you step aside. [1813.0s] I fucking love your style. [1814.6s] I'm just, I work here now. [1817.8s] I've done this before, guys. [1820.0s] The female Dragonborn comes over [1821.7s] and she's bronze scaled. [1824.3s] She's wearing an apron over her blouse [1828.0s] and long pants. [1829.8s] And her name tag says. [1831.4s] And her name tag says, Mjaldik Nurud. [1835.9s] Last name? [1837.6s] Doesn't have a last name. [1839.0s] Her last name would be on her name tag, Amy. [1841.0s] Come on. [1841.6s] Right, right. [1842.6s] It wouldn't be that long. [1844.2s] Her name tag's like. [1845.3s] It's not a name tag. [1846.3s] It's a name shirt. [1848.3s] Also has her social insurance number and address. [1852.7s] Docs, and that's why nobody works there [1854.2s] because everybody gets doxed. [1857.2s] She comes over to you and says, excuse me. [1860.5s] What is it you're doing? [1862.0s] I'm working. [1866.2s] You should be too. [1867.4s] There is a line. [1871.9s] Make a persuasion check. [1873.9s] Come for the deal, stay for the sass. [1875.8s] There's a line. [1878.6s] You know what this was about you, Glim, [1880.0s] but it's no longer about you. [1881.8s] I only care about this. [1884.6s] Dirty 20. [1886.2s] Okay. [1887.8s] Oh, no one told me that somebody else [1892.2s] was coming today. [1893.0s] I thought it was just supposed to be me. [1894.6s] Well, I'm sorry I'm late, [1896.0s] but clearly I'm here just in time. [1899.6s] Let's get to work and then we can talk [1901.7s] about everything else later. [1904.1s] Oh, okay. [1906.2s] Did you need your name tag? [1907.3s] I don't know if they sent one down. [1908.9s] It's okay. [1910.0s] We can work on that later. [1911.8s] What do you need? [1912.5s] Who's next? [1914.3s] Both of you get to work as the three [1916.7s] of you look in astonishment at your friend [1919.8s] who's just ducked in to start working. [1921.6s] Did he just get a fucking job? [1924.0s] I guess so. [1924.7s] Did he just waltz up and get a job? [1927.0s] Wow. [1927.8s] I mean, I know he kept talking [1929.2s] about the gig economy, [1930.3s] but I didn't think it was like this. [1932.6s] We hadn't seen it in action. [1933.7s] We'd just been on the road. [1934.7s] It's amazing. [1935.9s] Okay, so next time I'm just saying, [1938.2s] we need to just go up and be like, [1940.8s] we're part of this caravan. [1944.2s] Yeah, I think you're right. [1945.1s] We're protecting you now. [1947.0s] I think if Dance has taught us anything, [1948.7s] it's that confidence is key. [1950.9s] Definitely. [1951.9s] Damn. [1953.2s] Okay. [1954.0s] Hey, Dance, we'll catch up with you later? [1956.7s] Sure, sure. [1958.1s] As soon as I clock out, [1960.2s] I'll meet up with you guys. [1961.7s] Yeah, okay. [1962.5s] We'll find you. [1966.6s] Maybe I'll catch you on my break. [1968.1s] I'm supposed to get a two-fifteen minute break. [1971.3s] Two-fifteens and a thirty. [1972.8s] Don't you let them do you dirty like that. [1975.9s] Oh, okay. [1976.6s] Yeah, thank you. [1977.2s] I forgot about that. [1979.8s] Okay. [1981.4s] Welcome to our sideshow of like, [1983.6s] workers' rights. [1984.6s] Workers' rights. [1985.8s] Sorry, dance to laws. [1988.0s] Labor laws and the importance of a union. [1990.4s] Let's talk about it. [1991.5s] Cicero, I didn't tell you [1993.0s] that I have a bad habit [1994.9s] of starting side spin-off stories. [1997.8s] Dance may be one of those. [1999.3s] So we're going to need you back. [2002.2s] You know, just free up your calendar. [2003.8s] We'll check back in. [2004.5s] Dance will be assistant manager. [2006.1s] We'll check back in again. [2007.1s] He will be manager. [2009.5s] Now he's opened his own competitor's store [2012.3s] right beside this one. [2014.0s] Puts him out of business. [2015.0s] It gets real cutthroat. [2016.9s] And now I'm the CEO. [2018.7s] That's right. [2021.0s] Ah, this is a success story. [2022.5s] I'm loving it. [2023.1s] Oh, it's amazing. [2024.3s] Okay, the other three, [2025.9s] I don't care what you're doing. [2027.2s] We go back to, no, I'm kidding. [2028.6s] What do you do? [2030.2s] Does anything matter anymore? [2031.4s] I'm not entirely sure. [2032.3s] I've broken the game. [2034.1s] This is all I care about now. [2036.3s] Welcome to the dance cast. [2039.8s] So I guess we should probably [2041.0s] find you that citadel, right? [2042.6s] We're gonna, [2043.3s] I thought he was gonna perform as a bard, [2045.3s] but he's completely abandoned that idea. [2047.8s] He's now working at this stall over here. [2050.1s] Totally fine. [2050.7s] I like his commitment. [2051.7s] The steady paycheck is probably more appealing [2053.9s] than the gig economy. [2054.8s] Well, you know what? [2055.4s] You need a side hustle, right? [2058.7s] Wait, so barding could maybe be the side hustle now. [2061.2s] Well, I think like he really bards hard at night, [2064.2s] but then like make sure he goes to his nine to five. [2067.0s] Look, sister is nodding. [2070.6s] You need something to pay the bills, [2073.0s] but then you really pursue your passion on your off time. [2076.9s] Speaking of passion, [2078.5s] Flynn, do you get like a special tinkle [2080.3s] anywhere in your body to tell us [2081.8s] if we're getting close to this Bahamut temple? [2084.2s] Well, I mean, some of these Dragonborn [2085.8s] are pretty handsome, so I guess. [2089.9s] Glim, who taught you to speak like that? [2093.2s] Well, you, Sully. [2099.2s] Guys, I feel a little bit nervous now that we're here. [2105.8s] So maybe just let's casually walk around [2110.6s] the marketplace here, and I guess maybe let's see [2115.8s] if you see anyone who's like wearing robes [2117.8s] or seems like they might be a religious figure. [2122.2s] I don't know if I want to just start asking people. [2125.1s] All right, so you like want to, [2127.3s] you want us to walk around here looking inconspicuous. [2133.0s] All three of you stop, look around, [2135.8s] and realize the only halfling and only half-orc, [2141.4s] everyone else is Dragonborn. [2143.0s] I start to whistle. [2143.7s] I'm going to pull out my floppy sun hat [2146.6s] because I think that's going to help me [2147.8s] like blend into the crowd. [2149.9s] This isn't a problem. [2150.8s] Nobody's like, you get an occasional look. [2153.2s] Uh, all right, um, uh, on, on, on your 20. [2160.2s] Over there. [2161.0s] I see someone with a, yeah, and I, I point really obviously. [2165.2s] There's a guy wearing a robe over there. [2168.5s] And then he could be a religious figure. [2170.2s] You look over and you see a Dragonborn looks older, [2173.8s] uh, in a red velvet robe. [2176.8s] It's comfortable as fuck. [2179.5s] He looks cozy. [2180.7s] Hey, only the only a guy filled with the satisfaction [2184.6s] of Bahama could look that comfortable, right? [2188.6s] I mean, you're not wrong. [2190.0s] You're not wrong. [2191.0s] Okay, that's you're right. [2192.3s] That's a good place to start. [2193.4s] I should just, I should just ask. [2195.4s] I'm going to approach the be robed man. [2200.2s] I feel like we're like unnecessarily loudly supportive. [2203.6s] Like, yeah, you got this. [2204.9s] Don't you, don't you worry about it. [2207.8s] You can do this. [2208.5s] Glen is what you came here for. [2209.7s] You came all the way. [2210.9s] Uh, if you, yeah, I assume you're still on like [2213.0s] the marketplace level. [2214.2s] You hadn't gotten too far. [2215.3s] He's, uh, he's looking at many leather bound books. [2218.6s] Um, excuse me, sir. [2221.0s] He stops and turns to you. [2223.8s] Yes. [2225.0s] I'm, I'm so sorry to interrupt. [2226.6s] I, I just arrived here. [2229.0s] Welcome. [2229.4s] And I'm, thank you. [2231.4s] And I'm looking for a Citadel dedicated to Bahamut [2235.7s] so that I can swear my oath. [2238.3s] Wow. [2238.7s] And I noticed that you are wearing that amazing robe. [2243.0s] And I thought, A, you could maybe give me directions. [2247.8s] And if not, then B, you could tell me where you got [2250.2s] that very amazing robe. [2251.7s] Uh, well, uh, uh, lady runs a robesmith down the street. [2260.1s] A robbery. [2261.9s] You, you know. [2263.4s] I used to be a roboteer. [2265.3s] You should get a job there. [2266.5s] She's looking for people. [2268.2s] I think about it. [2269.7s] Podcast is over. [2270.6s] We're all just going to get jobs. [2274.1s] We all just got employed and then just kind of drifted apart. [2277.8s] Cause you know, you know how that happens. [2279.8s] You're working opposite shifts. [2282.5s] It's tough to get together. [2283.7s] Yeah. [2283.9s] A perfect level of need employment, want employment. [2287.4s] It's just always working. [2289.2s] Um, well, uh, so, sorry. [2291.4s] You said you were pledging your oath. [2292.7s] Did you say, did you say to whom? [2295.5s] Oh, Bahamut. [2296.8s] Oh, yes. [2297.6s] Um, well, uh, yes. [2299.4s] There is a Citadel of Bahamut on the second floor. [2303.9s] It's, um. [2305.8s] Next to the housewares department. [2308.0s] Well. [2309.4s] Thank you. [2309.7s] It's the beyond part of the bed bath and beyond? [2311.6s] Yes. [2312.0s] Yeah. [2316.2s] You know, it's often difficult to find. [2318.1s] It's, uh, they're not showy of their, of their Citadel. [2324.9s] I could, I could escort you if that would work for you. [2329.8s] Oh, I mean, that, that'd be, that'd be really nice. [2334.4s] I'm, I'm Glim, by the way. [2336.6s] Nice to meet you. [2337.4s] I'm, I'm Forak. [2339.2s] It's nice to meet you. [2340.6s] Thanks for your help. [2342.0s] Of course. [2342.5s] Well, it's your first time here. [2345.4s] I look forward to whatever it is your oath brings you. [2349.8s] It's not often you run into someone pledging an oath. [2354.2s] Oh, I mean, I thought that was the main thing that happened here. [2356.9s] No? [2357.1s] Oh, not, not specifically. [2360.2s] Not, well, more so since the, since the Civil War. [2364.1s] Wait, you tell me. [2365.0s] And the Civil War was between? [2367.9s] Well, it was, it was a few generations ago. [2371.8s] Not many, actually. [2372.8s] Two, two or three. [2375.5s] Do you, do you know? [2376.8s] Obviously you don't know of it. [2378.0s] You don't know when it, when it was. [2380.6s] How long have you, have you and your clan been gone? [2383.9s] Well, don't really know. [2385.8s] Abandoned as a baby. [2387.2s] Brought up by, in a, in a, in a new to me family, so. [2392.4s] So some time ago. [2395.9s] So some time ago, at least as long as I've been alive, [2398.4s] which is about 20 years. [2400.6s] Jarod Tamar here was a stronghold for Dragonborns [2404.7s] and still continues to be. [2406.2s] It, at a point, became distrustful of anyone [2414.5s] who was not Dragonborn and even those who were Dragonborn [2419.8s] and pledged their oath to Bahamut or Tiamat were [2426.8s] not seen as, um. [2429.3s] Tresswezzy? [2431.2s] Yeah. [2431.9s] Civil War broke out between those who sought [2434.5s] those religious figures and those who did not [2437.5s] and, well, the establishment collapsed in on itself [2444.2s] and the capital, well, it was under siege from inside and out. [2449.2s] Of people trying to choose what's right. [2455.0s] Oh. [2456.1s] Oh, should I be being more circumspect about the fact [2458.6s] that I'm here to swear an oath to Bahamut? [2460.5s] Because I thought that would just be like really great and cool. [2463.7s] No, there are few who still hold right that the gods have no place, [2469.8s] but it is not as widely received. [2473.0s] And you are welcome here as you are. [2475.8s] The dust has long settled and for the most part [2479.0s] the capital is peaceful. [2481.4s] Can't you hear the music? [2482.6s] Yes, it seems like a great medley. [2484.9s] Oh, imagine dragons. [2491.5s] So good, so good. [2494.7s] Sorry, this story tends to drag on. [2500.8s] But the Civil War of time passed. [2504.3s] I, you were obviously one of the exiled groups prior to this happening, [2511.7s] but I will, I will lead you. [2514.1s] I will escort you to your oath and hopefully you will find your answers there. [2519.6s] Who did you oath upon? [2521.4s] I have not, I have not pledged an oath. [2524.0s] Oh, so you're just, these are legit just comfy ropes. [2527.4s] Yeah, yes. [2528.3s] All right. [2528.9s] I'm very sorry that we kind of narrowed in on you like old guy in ropes. [2533.7s] Well, not many religious figures wear these sleek sexy red robes. [2539.2s] You know what? [2539.8s] They hug in a lot of special places. [2543.0s] Thank you for noticing. [2544.9s] I am waist level. [2548.4s] Yep, we cut back to dense. [2551.3s] I was just going to say he's got to be on a 15 by now, right? [2557.1s] Mia walks over, taps you on the shoulder, says okay, you've been great. [2561.2s] I don't know who sent you. [2563.4s] I don't know where you came from, but you're amazing. [2568.0s] Well, I came, I came from over there and then I came over here [2576.6s] and I went to work because work need to be done. [2579.4s] Yeah, but who sent you? [2581.8s] The people, my friends, my friends, they brought me. [2589.4s] They didn't send me. [2591.4s] I sent myself. [2593.0s] So like main office didn't send you? [2595.8s] I mean, there is a main office maybe, but I haven't been there yet. [2601.1s] Okay. [2601.7s] Maybe should I go there after this? [2603.8s] Well, actually, I was thinking maybe I'll go. [2607.0s] So I'm a bard in my off time. [2611.6s] So I'm hoping that I can get off of work early enough [2615.4s] so that I can go to perform at the out of the way. [2623.8s] The out of the way. [2625.2s] Oh, you're talking about the party club where all the kids hang out. [2630.2s] That's what I was told. [2631.1s] I was told that I could go and perform there. [2633.0s] Do you know anyone there? [2635.8s] Well, my son goes and hangs out there. [2640.5s] Well, maybe he can give me a spot on stage. [2643.7s] I, you know what? [2645.8s] Ask for Charney Turd. [2651.6s] Charney Turd. [2653.7s] Excuse me, what? [2655.1s] Tell me what? [2655.9s] Show me. [2656.6s] Charney Turd. [2657.6s] Why on earth? [2659.0s] That's my name I wrote down. [2663.1s] Did you stroke out midway? [2664.9s] No, it's right there. [2667.9s] Charney Turd. [2668.4s] Charney Turd. [2671.4s] That's a great name. [2673.0s] Well, thank you. [2673.5s] Thank you. [2673.9s] Yes, yeah, go. [2679.7s] Do you plan on continuing to work here? [2683.0s] Well, I mean, if you're busy, then yeah, I'll come back to work. [2687.0s] But, you know, if the day is over, I'll take my pay now. [2696.6s] I need to stop you for a second. [2699.4s] I fucking respect the fact that he walked in out of nowhere. [2704.5s] Was like, I work here. [2705.8s] And then it was like, yo, can I blow off early? [2714.0s] Every bit of that is absolutely perfect. [2717.2s] Oh my god, I'm crying. [2719.8s] Make a persuasion roll. [2721.7s] I think we're going to need a luck of the die to see what happens next. [2726.8s] That is fantastic. [2729.1s] I've known this person on so many levels. [2731.7s] 15. [2733.4s] Oh, okay. [2735.9s] Well, I mean, if you intend to come back, she hands you a form. [2742.2s] You fill this out. [2744.2s] I don't know your schedule. [2745.8s] You seem aloof. [2748.6s] She puts down a copper and a silver and says, [2752.7s] This should cover clearing that mess. [2757.5s] Fill out the paperwork and then go to your gig and then come back. [2760.9s] And I'll have contacted the main office and see if they sent you. [2770.7s] But you think I've got a feet. [2777.8s] You said I'm a hoof? [2779.8s] No, I've got feet. [2782.7s] Yes, you do. [2784.4s] Right. [2784.8s] But so I'm not a hoof. [2786.2s] Okay. [2786.5s] Okay. [2787.0s] Yeah, aloof, aloof. [2791.0s] A loaf? [2792.5s] I think that's what you mean, a loaf. [2794.4s] Yeah. [2794.6s] Not that either. [2795.8s] Sorry. [2796.1s] But I could use a loaf. [2797.4s] What would you like to be referred to as? [2800.6s] Oh, I'm dense. [2804.0s] Nice to meet you, dense Mia. [2808.5s] Fill out this paperwork, dense. [2810.0s] And we'll talk about future employment. [2812.9s] I think this will cover any incidentals between here and there though. [2818.9s] Oh, okay. [2822.2s] Yes, I can do this. [2825.8s] I'll bring the form back. [2827.4s] Okay, perfect. [2830.1s] So I'm going to go find shiny turd now. [2833.3s] Perfect. [2834.6s] Do a lot of people yell, [2836.4s] there's no time, and dense, alive? [2843.7s] I'm just wondering. [2845.1s] Yes. [2846.5s] Okay. [2847.0s] I love it. [2847.4s] Dense walks off with his paper and his copper and silver. [2853.1s] Yes. [2853.7s] Oh, wait a minute. [2854.4s] Before he goes, he'll say to Mia, [2859.4s] So my friends that brought me, they didn't send me, but they brought me. [2863.8s] Okay. [2866.6s] They went to one of them, Glim. [2869.6s] She was the dragonborn. [2870.8s] You saw her. [2873.3s] She went to go see Bahamut. [2879.4s] Like to actually see Bahamut or to go to the church of Bahamut? [2884.8s] He's doing an appearance. [2887.5s] No, I think she went to go see Bahamut and tell him how much she loved him. [2893.4s] You see her look to her feet. [2896.6s] And just think for a moment. [2899.8s] And then she yells, there's no time! [2902.6s] Go! [2905.6s] It's trying to piece it together. [2906.6s] Be like, look, your friends probably went upstairs. [2910.6s] Another level up. [2911.8s] There's a church up there. [2913.1s] Bahamut, I don't know if Bahamut's coming today. [2915.6s] I didn't get the memo. [2919.1s] Bring the paperwork back once you've talked to my son, shiny turd. [2922.6s] See if you can get a gig there. [2927.3s] If not, we can find something here for you. [2929.5s] Maybe we'll move you off of cash. [2934.7s] Okay, well, I mean, all of that stuff sounds great. [2939.7s] I'll look forward to it. [2940.7s] Okay. [2941.3s] Thank you. [2942.0s] See you later. [2942.6s] Thank you, Denz. [2943.5s] See you later, Mia. [2945.0s] Oh my god! [2947.2s] Which direction does Denz go? [2948.5s] Does Denz follow the music? [2950.6s] Denz is going to find Bahamut and his friends. [2955.8s] Okay, and he takes context clues well. [2957.5s] He goes upstairs rather than downstairs. [2960.6s] I don't know what else he could have done. [2963.5s] You tell us. [2967.2s] Can there please be someone in a Bahamut mascot suit [2972.6s] making an appearance at the Citadel that day? [2978.5s] Roll history, roll history for me, [2982.8s] and then that will help determine where you make it to. [2985.5s] Oh my god. [2986.6s] Oh boy, four. [2989.7s] Come back to Denz momentarily. [2992.8s] Denz is on his own adventure. [2995.1s] Forak leads Glim, Moot, and Sully. [2997.8s] You wouldn't have been able to bring Rolf up, [2999.7s] but there would have been a stable at some point along the way [3002.3s] that you would have been able to leave him. [3004.6s] But leads Glim, Moot, and Sully up to the second floor [3008.3s] and down a series of what seem like, [3013.0s] to your definition, alleyways within this structure. [3018.2s] And he brushes his hand along the wall [3022.9s] and some dust flakes off at an entrance. [3027.4s] And Glim, you immediately see it as the dust flakes away. [3031.4s] There is a carving of the symbol of Bahamut, [3035.1s] the white dragon's head in the stone. [3040.8s] This is the Citadel you speak of. [3045.4s] Thank you so much. [3046.6s] And we'll definitely check out that robe lady later, [3050.8s] right guys? [3052.3s] Oh yeah, 100%. [3053.3s] Again, you look amazing. [3055.5s] Thank you, thank you. [3056.5s] I hope you find what you're looking for in here. [3060.5s] Great, I think we're going to go to the Out of the Way later. [3063.0s] If you wanted to meet up, I'd be happy to buy you a meat or... [3066.8s] The Out of the Way? [3068.6s] Yeah, my friend's a bard and he's gonna... [3070.6s] Oh, oh, oh, the party club. [3073.0s] Yeah, if you want to come to the party club with us later. [3076.5s] Great, sure. [3077.8s] Do you have like separate party robes [3079.8s] or is it the same robe situation? [3081.6s] Gonna have to wait to find out there, good friend. [3085.0s] Okay. [3085.8s] Forek walks off. [3086.8s] The three of you are standing outside the Citadel. [3089.1s] I'm gonna take a deep breath and I'm gonna open the door. [3095.5s] Assuming it's like a church that you can just walk into, [3099.1s] not like someone's private residence [3100.7s] that I've just wandered into. [3102.3s] Again, all of that doesn't live here. [3106.2s] So I'm gonna open the door. [3108.4s] I feel like Moot and Sully kind of just like flank her, [3111.7s] like giving some respectful space, [3115.4s] but also like we're here for you, [3118.0s] trying to strike that bAlydince. [3119.8s] Sure. [3121.3s] Okay, you walk in, Glim, and you see this first. [3125.4s] It's a modest dwelling. [3128.1s] There are pews, they're old, worn wood, kind of too deep in this. [3136.0s] What looks like from the size [3140.7s] could be no bigger than a large storage closet. [3144.6s] There is a chair up at the front. [3149.9s] It's a handmade wooden chair. [3153.4s] There are a few candles lit along the back wall. [3158.2s] And there is a male dragonborn kind of dusting off some shelves. [3164.3s] He looks back to you as you walk in and continues dusting. [3168.0s] He says, sorry, no service right now. [3171.9s] Can I help you? [3172.9s] No service right now. [3174.2s] Can I help you with something? [3175.8s] Oh, I hope so. [3177.7s] My name's Glim. [3178.7s] Well, Nurikshah's a hackra, but everybody calls me Glim. [3181.7s] And I need to swear an oath to Bahamut so that I can save the world. [3186.6s] So do you think I could do that here or we've traveled a pretty long way? [3194.7s] As soon as you say your name, you notice him stop dusting. [3199.8s] And his body language from behind, even like there's like this deep breath in [3211.9s] and like sigh of what you could presume as relief. [3217.4s] And he turns around to you and you see his eyes are like glassy. [3222.8s] He says, you said Nurikshah's hackra. [3226.2s] Yeah, but everybody calls me Glim. [3228.3s] You can call me Glim. [3230.2s] Glim, it's a pleasure. [3232.2s] Pleasure to meet you. [3233.4s] Please, please come in. [3234.8s] And he dusts off one of the chairs before you and just please be seated. [3241.2s] Your friends as well. [3242.2s] Thanks. [3242.7s] These are my friends, Mood and Sully. [3245.0s] Oh yeah, but we're like barely here. [3246.7s] We're just here for support. [3248.3s] We're just, yeah. [3249.4s] Yeah, we'll just blend into the background. [3251.4s] Oh, don't say that. [3252.2s] They're part of my destiny to save the world. [3255.5s] So Mood, as you say, blend into the background. [3258.2s] You look around and like there is no background. [3260.8s] There's like four chairs, essentially. [3265.4s] You step as far away as you can, but it's still not that far. [3268.2s] You're still within like five to 10 feet tops. [3271.0s] Neat. [3271.8s] All right. [3275.1s] It was told that you would come, but we didn't know when or how or where. [3280.8s] What do you mean it was told I would come? [3287.7s] Me personally, or just like a mysterious, cool dragonborn [3294.0s] would arrive with two super cool friends? [3298.6s] He goes and he opens his book and turns and shows it to you. [3303.9s] On the date that it is, he turns to and says, [3307.4s] Neurixious Akra will pledge her oath. [3313.3s] Wow. [3314.2s] Did Bahama tell you that? [3316.6s] It's been in the book for ages. [3322.0s] Huh. [3323.8s] I mean, I'm glad to see that. [3324.9s] We really have traveled a very long way. [3327.3s] And I've been telling everybody I have a destiny to save the world. [3330.6s] And this seems like some good proof, right, guys? [3335.4s] Well, I mean, I was told before, but I mean, it's in a book. [3340.2s] I already believed you. [3341.0s] I picture Moot and Sully who said they're going to blend into the background, [3343.7s] like peeking up and around trying to look at the book. [3346.4s] We're for sure like three inches away. [3349.0s] Well, I mean, I have a million questions, but I guess I should just wear the oath first, [3356.0s] right? [3356.2s] And then maybe we'll stay here for a couple of days, guys, [3358.3s] and we can ask all these questions. [3360.2s] And I'm sorry, I haven't even asked your name yet. [3362.4s] No, no, of course. [3364.2s] My name is Akif. [3367.0s] It is my pleasure. [3369.6s] Glim. [3371.4s] It's so nice to meet you. [3374.0s] So I haven't actually really sworn a lot of oaths before. [3378.7s] So I have this and I pull out that piece of leather that like is that tooled piece [3386.5s] of leather that has Bahamut symbol on it. [3388.5s] That's my symbol. [3390.3s] And this is sort of how I like really talk with Bahamut is using this. [3397.4s] So should I use that or is there a special ritual? [3402.5s] It has been such a long time since anyone has been here to do what you intend to do. [3412.1s] He looks down at the book and says there's nothing in this book that says what comes [3419.1s] next. [3423.0s] OK, well, I guess I'll just do what feels right, right? [3430.5s] If it feels good, do it. [3432.6s] But even if you should. [3435.4s] Is there, I know you said there was like pews, but is there like an altar kind of area? [3442.2s] Where there would be an altar, there is a single chair facing back to the pews. [3447.5s] Oh, OK. [3451.0s] Akif goes and lays the book on a ledge behind the chair, lights a few more candles. [3459.0s] Your friends best join me. [3464.5s] Oh, yeah, for sure. [3465.8s] You have some privacy while you're doing this. [3467.4s] Maybe they should find dense, because I feel like even though he's been with us [3470.6s] for such a short time, he probably wants to be involved with this. [3473.8s] Also, a quick question from Amy, is she sitting like backwards on the chair [3478.3s] looking forwards at the book? [3479.8s] Because that's a visual I got. [3481.4s] The chair is facing the pews, but he put the book behind the chair. [3484.9s] She's like, well, she didn't sit in the chair yet. [3488.8s] Is she going to do a backwards style? [3490.4s] Are you going to do a backwards style? [3491.2s] So the chair he brushed off was one of the pews, right? [3493.8s] No, you said that where an altar would be, there's a chair. [3496.8s] And he said the book behind the chair, but the chair was looking out the pews. [3501.4s] If you were to sit backwards in the chair and read the book, yes. [3504.6s] You know what? [3505.1s] I hear Bahamut's a really cool guy. [3511.6s] Sorry. [3512.1s] Yeah, I guess we exit. [3513.5s] Ekif ushers. [3515.3s] He's a really cool guy. [3518.0s] Turns his hat backwards. [3520.6s] Ekif leads the two of you out, Moot and Sully, and looks back to you, Glim, [3525.4s] and says, I'm sorry, I can't be of more assistance. [3532.2s] I will be just outside if you need anything, though. [3535.0s] Okay, thank you. [3537.8s] He pulls the door closed. [3550.9s] It's the middle time now. [3552.5s] We're here and we're going to have some fun talking about stuff. [3555.8s] Like, I think we're Cheez Whiz today. [3559.4s] I don't understand the words you just said. [3561.1s] Yeah, I'm also studying silence. [3565.5s] No, I'm sorry. [3566.2s] I understood. [3568.9s] I understood. [3569.9s] I think we're blank today. [3573.5s] Yeah, Cheez Whiz. [3577.0s] I heard all the words and I still don't understand. [3580.3s] Okay, so. [3581.4s] Because that goes in the middle of a sandwich. [3583.9s] Sandwich, yes. [3585.0s] I was going to say, please, not if you were poor enough growing up, [3587.4s] you just had Cheez Whiz sandwiches. [3588.9s] Cheez Whiz was like when we had like, [3592.5s] my mom got some money and we bought some Cheez Whiz, [3595.0s] that was like a treat. [3597.2s] I didn't get that kind of thing. [3598.9s] You have the name brand stuff, you betcha. [3600.8s] So I'm just feeling like where the Cheez Whiz is today. [3604.9s] Welcome to the middle. [3605.7s] Welcome to the cheese whizzy middle. [3610.4s] Thank you for being here with us. [3611.4s] We love having you here on this adventure that we are riding on. [3615.3s] We want to let you know that we have some great things going on [3618.6s] over on our website, which we don't normally talk about all that much. [3621.8s] DumbDragons.com. [3623.8s] Yeah, we have a whole website over there. [3625.7s] Yeah, which I'm, you'll find there's some coming soon things on there. [3629.0s] Don't worry about that, it's coming. [3630.2s] Just ignore that part. [3631.1s] Soon, so soon. [3632.7s] But one thing we want you to take a look at, [3635.1s] because people have been raving about it, [3637.8s] is our support us tab, [3640.4s] because we have T public and red bubble stores [3645.0s] where you can buy tapestries. [3646.4s] Yes, this people have tapestries that are being actually been raving about this. [3651.4s] Nobody has been raving about the support tab on our website, [3654.6s] but what he really meant was we have these shops where you can buy fun stuff. [3658.5s] So like T-shirts and hoodies, et cetera, [3661.0s] but like phone cases and tapestries. [3664.6s] So if you want masks as well, yeah, [3667.1s] like a big Flamikinskins tapestry to grace, [3671.2s] what I assume would be your very formal dining room. [3674.3s] You can do that. [3675.5s] Or bedroom, right above the bed. [3677.9s] I hope that's where it's going. [3679.1s] One of our patrons, we were on a call with them [3681.4s] and they were like, hey, Russ, I'm on your store. [3684.7s] And I noticed I can't buy this tapestry of a Flamikinskins. [3688.1s] And I was like, I probably didn't check it because I was like, [3690.9s] that's not a thing anybody ever wants to do. [3694.6s] Check it and I will buy it. [3696.0s] And I said, okay. [3697.9s] And they did. [3699.8s] And now we need pictures. [3700.6s] I was just going to say pictures of that would be wonderful. [3703.1s] We need pictures. [3703.6s] If you have any T-shirts, we'd love to see a picture of that. [3706.6s] Oh sure, yeah. [3708.5s] Send them to us. [3710.0s] You can send them to us on Twitter or Facebook [3711.8s] or join us in our Discord. [3713.0s] All the links are in the description always. [3715.9s] So we'd love to see all that. [3717.7s] But yeah, dumbdragons.com. [3720.2s] Take you right to our stores through that drop down [3723.9s] from the support us that everybody's raving about. [3726.2s] I don't know if I told you about that. [3728.4s] Just website organization I think is what I was trying to get at. [3732.2s] It's just everybody raves about how well our website is [3736.1s] organized and that they know about the website at all. [3738.6s] And that they know about the website at all. [3740.4s] But it's there. [3741.8s] And we'd love for you to check it out. [3743.2s] That's all I got. [3744.1s] Okay. [3745.7s] We're going to go let you get back to this episode now. [3751.0s] You're standing alone in this room. [3755.8s] There are a dozen candles lit around. [3759.3s] You look up and it is at first a stone ceiling. [3768.6s] You look back down into the candles and then you hear [3772.4s] the sound of birds chirping. [3776.0s] Same sound that you heard when you were [3780.2s] taken to the Church of Bahamut by your mama. [3782.9s] You look back up and you see a clear blue sky. [3791.6s] Canaries flying above. [3797.4s] Is the room as it was? [3799.8s] Just the sky is now the outdoors? [3804.0s] Yeah, the room itself hasn't changed. [3807.3s] It does appear that there's more light in the room [3810.2s] with the appearance of the ceiling changing. [3813.4s] Okay. [3814.2s] But nothing physical has changed about the room. [3818.5s] Then I will sit in the chair backwards. [3820.6s] Great suggestion. [3822.2s] And I'm going to sort of hold that piece of leather [3825.3s] in front of me, that tooled piece of leather. [3828.9s] And say, hey Bahamut, it's me, Glim. [3833.8s] I don't really know what I'm supposed to do, [3836.4s] but I do want to tell you that I love you [3840.5s] and I want to serve you and I'm totally prepared [3843.7s] to do whatever it takes to save the world. [3846.9s] So I swear this oath to you that I will give [3852.0s] everything I have, even my life, to serve you. [3859.1s] A moment goes by. [3861.4s] What are you looking at or are you looking at anything? [3865.0s] I think I'm sort of focusing, like holding that, [3868.6s] that like my holy symbol and sort of focusing my energy [3872.7s] into that because that's how I sort of do my day-to-day [3877.0s] chatting with Bahamut. [3878.4s] So that's how I feel close to him. [3881.7s] The symbol you hold in your hands begins to, [3886.3s] you feel a warmth coming from it. [3890.6s] You look up into it and there's a glow, [3894.7s] a white glow to it. [3898.2s] You look, you catch your eye on the book [3901.7s] that Ekif laid on the shelf in front of you. [3906.7s] You see that where the date was written [3910.2s] and there was a bit of a gap in the page, [3912.6s] you see the page begin to glow again [3916.4s] and writing begin to appear. [3923.4s] Okay, well I'm going to get up and read that. [3925.8s] You feel a breeze brush across your scales. [3935.0s] Your clothing begin to move with it [3938.7s] and you look down at the book [3942.3s] and you see coming into view almost as if being written before you [3949.2s] and it says, [3949.8s] protect your friends, [3956.2s] protect your people and save this realm. [3967.8s] The light on the book begins to fade. [3970.6s] The ink begins to dry. [3976.0s] You look up and you see the blue sky gone [3978.6s] but you still hear the chirping of the birds throughout the chamber. [3984.5s] The light begins to settle back into the candles [3988.1s] and then you feel a warmth rush through your symbol [3992.4s] and through your body. [3996.1s] You feel at ease. [3999.8s] As the room returns to normal, [4002.5s] Glim says, [4004.2s] Guys, I think I'm done. [4007.4s] You can come back in. [4008.4s] And I kind of walk over towards the door [4010.2s] and I'm going to open the door to let them back in. [4013.0s] I think we for sure fall into it [4015.6s] because I feel like maybe Moot and Sully [4017.7s] were definitely pressed up against that door [4021.1s] just like trying to listen. [4023.4s] Number one to make sure that Glim is okay [4026.7s] and number two though like if Bahamut was speaking, [4029.6s] we totally wanted to hear it. [4032.2s] There. [4034.5s] You go to exit [4036.9s] and Moot and Sully are waiting there for you. [4039.8s] Ekif is standing off a respectable distance [4043.0s] and Glim you look back in [4045.3s] and you see for a moment [4047.4s] like the blue light that you saw before [4051.7s] and you look up [4053.0s] and you see a long silvery dragon [4058.9s] cross above in the sky [4061.4s] before the sky begins to fade again. [4069.0s] Sully looks up to where Glim's gaze is going [4072.9s] and says, [4074.4s] What are you looking at? [4076.8s] Oh, yeah, never mind. [4081.1s] I probably didn't see anything [4083.0s] but I know I definitely saw something. [4085.5s] Sully wouldn't understand. [4088.2s] The three of you walk out [4089.4s] and Ekif bids you farewell [4091.8s] at least for the moment. [4093.4s] You head back out [4095.7s] down the hallway which you came [4098.5s] and you see Dents standing there [4100.7s] with a large silver dragonborn [4106.7s] who's got a big sign. [4110.5s] Looks like they were spinning it [4112.0s] and it says big sails this way. [4116.6s] This guy works for the rogue people, doesn't he? [4119.4s] Hey, guys, I found Bahamut. [4125.0s] How did I find him before you guys? [4128.0s] I worked and I still found him first. [4130.5s] Where did you guys go? [4131.6s] Oh, we were just over at the... [4134.2s] Yeah, this is Bahamut. [4136.4s] You found him. [4138.0s] Yeah, I did. [4141.4s] I asked people, [4142.6s] I asked them where Bahamut was [4145.7s] and they pointed this way [4146.8s] and here he is. [4148.1s] Amazing. [4148.9s] The kindness of strangers, am I right? [4152.2s] Yeah, so Dents looks at the guy with the sign [4157.3s] and he says, [4159.1s] my friend over there, the dragonborn, [4162.2s] I think she thinks you're kind of cute. [4165.6s] The dragonborn who was previously very confused [4169.4s] looks back at Glim and says, [4172.3s] really? [4173.3s] You know, a bunch of us are gonna [4175.4s] are all gonna head over to out of the way. [4179.0s] We're celebrating. [4180.1s] The party club? [4181.0s] Oh, the party club, yeah. [4182.6s] The party club. [4183.3s] My friend Dents, he's a bard [4185.0s] so he's gonna maybe perform [4186.5s] and I've had a pretty big day so far [4188.2s] so I think we have a lot to celebrate. [4189.9s] But, I mean, you could come if you want [4193.1s] when you get off, [4195.0s] when you're done doing whatever this... [4197.3s] Sure, yeah. [4197.8s] I'm spinning signs till six here. [4201.1s] Okay. [4202.5s] Is it just a sign that just says Bahamut [4204.9s] and there's an arrow on one end of it? [4207.2s] He's just spinning in all sorts of directions. [4209.8s] That's right. [4210.7s] Because if that's the case, [4212.1s] Glim does think he's pretty cute. [4217.1s] Okay, you're heading to the party club? [4219.1s] Yeah, we're heading to the party club. [4221.0s] Dents needs to find shiny turd. [4222.6s] Okay. [4225.0s] You head back down to the main floor [4226.4s] where you primarily heard the music [4227.8s] kind of faded when you went upstairs [4229.5s] but you walk around the main floor [4231.4s] and it takes you a while [4232.3s] but you follow it and find it. [4234.3s] It goes down a set of stairs [4236.3s] and there's a door [4237.5s] where you can hear music coming from behind it. [4240.5s] It looks like a steel door [4241.8s] with a slat in it. [4243.8s] Guys, I've seen things like this before. [4246.7s] There's going to be a password or something. [4249.4s] Okay. [4250.5s] Dents, you have more experience [4252.3s] so you probably know... [4254.0s] Dents knocks on the door. [4255.8s] There's a moment [4256.6s] and then the slider clunks open. [4260.3s] There's a set of dragonborn eyes from behind [4262.5s] and there's a beat [4263.8s] and then says... [4266.5s] What do you get when a dragon sneezes? [4270.9s] Or something. [4273.7s] That's the password. [4275.6s] That's what Sully said. [4276.8s] Get out of the way. [4279.6s] Just get out of the way. [4280.8s] Okay. [4281.3s] The slider goes back [4282.4s] and the door opens [4283.4s] and there's a ruckus club inside. [4290.1s] I like that we've just given [4291.2s] the secret password [4292.2s] to literally everyone [4293.3s] we've talked to though, right? [4297.3s] Terrible with secrets. [4299.5s] So we get in [4301.0s] and so now [4305.9s] Dents is now looking for [4308.8s] someone that works there. [4310.3s] You need to find the club manager, right? [4313.0s] Yeah, definitely. [4313.6s] You'd see two bartenders. [4316.4s] There's a couple servers walking around. [4319.1s] There's one male dragonborn [4321.4s] who looks like they're... [4323.8s] They're a little bit more off in the back. [4325.8s] Looks like they're kind of [4326.8s] working some books or something. [4328.8s] Dents sees this guy [4330.0s] and he goes over to that dragonborn [4333.1s] who is working the books or something [4336.4s] and says... [4339.4s] Do you know shiny turd? [4343.5s] Who sent you? [4344.7s] Mia did. [4345.5s] A ma sent you? [4348.7s] Yes. [4349.6s] I'm supposed to work tonight. [4352.2s] Who are you? [4352.9s] He looks down at his book. [4355.9s] I'm Dents. [4357.8s] Dents? [4359.1s] You're supposed to work tonight? [4360.2s] I'm Dents. [4360.6s] Tonight? [4361.4s] I'm the bard. [4362.4s] The bard? [4364.3s] I'm a bard. [4364.8s] Oh, we had a bard that canceled. [4366.1s] Are you the bard that canceled? [4367.7s] No. [4369.0s] How could I cancel [4370.2s] if I'm supposed to work tonight? [4371.9s] Well, maybe you're the fill-in. [4375.0s] What did you say? [4375.7s] Dents? [4377.8s] Dents. [4378.6s] Yeah, you're working tonight. [4380.2s] You're up in 15 minutes. [4382.4s] Oh, okay. [4383.8s] Let me get my material together. [4387.4s] Well, you better be ready. [4388.5s] There's a hot crowd here. [4390.0s] We don't want to get them get cold [4393.0s] before the big guy goes on. [4395.5s] Oh, okay. [4396.8s] Well, who's the big guy? [4399.0s] Maybe I can cater my material for that. [4403.5s] You know Puff? [4405.0s] Fuck off. [4409.4s] He's a magic dragon. [4412.2s] Exactly. [4412.8s] You know him. [4414.0s] Yes. [4416.5s] I've heard about him. [4417.8s] I get to open for Puff. [4419.8s] You get to open for Puff. [4421.0s] It's your big day, kid. [4422.3s] Oh, take that. [4423.4s] Take that. [4425.4s] Bad boy. [4426.0s] Shout out. [4431.9s] Oh, this is... [4432.8s] This is the big break that I was looking for. [4437.5s] Oh, all of my dreams are going to come true. [4441.0s] Maybe Glim was right. [4442.8s] This is my destiny. [4444.5s] I can change the world right here in this upside-down airfield. [4453.0s] This is amazing. [4457.3s] All right. [4457.8s] I'm going to go ahead and get ready. [4460.3s] So, you guys see Dents go off into the corner, which you didn't notice before. [4467.6s] Somehow he pulled out like a hood, and he's got this hood on his head, and he's just [4474.4s] like kind of bouncing around. [4477.3s] He's saying things like spaghetti, spaghetti. [4479.6s] It's just... [4483.1s] Yeah. [4483.9s] So, he's just... [4489.0s] He's really... [4490.4s] You know that he's been serious before, but he hasn't been serious. [4494.9s] But now, Dents is serious. [4499.5s] He's ready to go. [4501.0s] You ready? [4501.6s] It's time to get on. [4503.9s] Okay. [4505.8s] Hey, everybody. [4506.6s] Me, Shiny Turd, here again. [4509.0s] Getting you ready before Puffy comes on. [4512.0s] We got a new kid in town. [4515.3s] Open it up for Puffy. [4516.2s] Give him a warm welcome. [4517.5s] It's Dents. [4518.3s] We're like clapping, freaking out. [4523.9s] Dents comes in, and he flaps his wings, and he sits there, and he looks around, [4531.1s] and he goes, oh, wait a minute. [4536.0s] Are you guys ready to laugh? [4542.3s] Don't laugh too hard. [4544.1s] I don't want to get singed. [4550.8s] It's uproarious laughter, because dragon puns go over very well. [4557.8s] So... [4560.0s] So, you guys live in an upside-down anthill. [4565.8s] But what happens when you fart? [4572.4s] If someone farts and someone else laughs, does the whole room go up in flames? [4581.8s] I was just curious. [4589.0s] We fade out on Dents' performance. [4591.3s] Laughter uproarious throughout, and we check back in. [4595.8s] As Dents, you join back with your group. [4598.1s] That was great, I think. [4600.7s] What did you guys think? [4603.2s] Oh, that was... [4605.4s] I'm crying still. [4606.8s] It was so funny. [4608.2s] Oh, my god. [4609.3s] We hadn't had the chance to see you perform before. [4612.2s] You killed it up there. [4612.9s] Oh, it was really amazing. [4613.8s] Wow, wow. [4615.4s] Oh, well, thank you. [4617.4s] I think you really found Janeshia with these dragon puns. [4621.0s] I don't know, maybe. [4622.9s] Let me... [4623.8s] Oh, I'm going to go find Janeshia. [4626.6s] Oh, I'm going to go find Shiny Turd, because maybe he'll give me some money. [4632.7s] I bet he will. [4633.5s] He's going to want you. [4634.4s] He definitely will. [4635.4s] Oh, you are such a hit. [4637.0s] I think you're going to be a huge star. [4639.0s] The three of you see it before Dents does, [4641.0s] but Dents, you turn around and standing behind you is puff. [4648.0s] Hey! [4650.3s] No one has ever killed that good before me, ever! [4654.2s] Oh, well. [4656.2s] I want you to come on the road with me. [4657.9s] What do you think there, Dents? [4661.0s] Wait, is... [4664.3s] Are we going to perform not on the road? [4670.6s] Yeah, we're going to perform in the clubs [4675.6s] and then go on the road to get to the clubs. [4679.8s] Oh, wait a minute. [4682.0s] And we'll get paid too. [4683.6s] Sign this piece of paper. [4684.8s] Oh, I've got a lot of papers to sign. [4686.1s] Mia called ahead, said you got to get the paperwork first. [4689.4s] Oh, yes. [4690.4s] Yeah, I've got some paperwork. [4692.2s] So wait a minute, I can sign this paperwork and that paperwork [4695.6s] and then I'll get... [4696.6s] I'll have two jobs. [4698.7s] Yep. [4699.9s] Oh, I'm sorry. [4700.4s] Yep, if this one falls through. [4703.5s] Second guessing, quite a few things. [4707.2s] Oh, okay. [4709.7s] I probably should get [4711.2s] my manager to read through this and he hands it to Sully. [4717.2s] Sully takes it and takes a pair of glasses. [4719.4s] No one knows where he got them from out of his pocket. [4723.3s] Puts them on his face and just like peruses. [4727.4s] Licks his finger, flips it, makes a little like note [4733.4s] or like changes somewhere and like initials beside it. [4736.6s] It's like, yeah, no, it looks pretty good. [4738.6s] I made a couple of suggested changes there, [4740.8s] but I mean, all in all, it looks real solid. [4743.0s] I would definitely take this dance. [4745.1s] I would definitely take this. [4746.9s] Oh my gosh, this is amazing. [4750.3s] And he signs it and he hands the note back over to Puff. [4756.2s] We'll get started right away, but first I must do one thing. [4763.4s] And he turns back around and he kneels down [4767.2s] so that he's eye level with Sully. [4770.9s] And he says, Sully, you were my first friend [4778.0s] that I met three weeks ago. [4782.7s] And you became my manager, just like Glim prophesied. [4793.0s] You changed my life. [4796.3s] Allow me to change yours because sometimes you get in fights [4805.8s] and you need protection. [4808.0s] So please take this. [4810.6s] And he reaches back behind his back, unsheathes his sword [4815.7s] or pulls it out off of, unbuckles it from himself [4821.0s] and hands over sheath and all the frightful sword of reflection. [4826.6s] To Sully. [4828.1s] Sully grabs it and holds it in his arms. [4831.6s] You didn't have to do this. [4834.1s] I'm really touched. [4835.5s] I just, I don't, so like in emotions and stuff, [4839.6s] so like you take care of yourself and it's brilliant. [4844.8s] Guys, did you see he gave me a sword? [4847.4s] Yeah, that super cool shiny one. [4850.2s] I feel like I need a sword now. [4852.2s] Everyone else has swords. [4854.4s] I mean, there's everything in the marketplace. [4856.1s] We can swing by the robe place tomorrow. [4857.8s] We can probably get you a new sword. [4859.3s] I don't know. [4859.8s] I think they have everything here. [4862.2s] You take care of yourself, Dent and Sully chokes a little bit. [4867.9s] Well, let me just tell you, if you guys see us in town, [4877.5s] you will definitely have a seat right up in the front. [4882.2s] Wherever we go. [4884.6s] We wouldn't miss it. [4888.6s] That's awesome. [4893.6s] The crowd cheers as Puff takes the stage [4896.2s] and we fade out on the sweet tunes of Puff the magic dragon. [4902.0s] As the friends go their separate ways on this adventure. [4907.6s] Ah, fuck, I didn't have a way to end that. [4909.4s] That's how we end it, everybody. [4997.9s] Oh, I figure Sully would have taken his pile of flyers [5001.3s] and just thrown them off a rooftop and been like, done. [5004.1s] Yeah, I'm pretty sure I probably did that. [5006.1s] Did you scrapbook one into one of your notebooks? [5009.4s] Oh, because I think that's next level, right? [5013.5s] You take notes and I mean, it just makes sense that scrapbooking [5017.2s] is the next kind of evolution. [5019.3s] He's not there yet, but he's leaning in that direction, for sure. [5023.5s] I just need a bit of decoupage, man. [5025.3s] It's just fine. [5027.1s] Her name tag says Mia. [5028.9s] Oh, don't you fucking do that. [5031.7s] Very few use that word. [5033.6s] Meow-dick-nerd. [5036.2s] Hey, Bahamut? [5038.0s] It's me, Glim, Amy Stopp. [5044.5s] Hello, God? [5046.3s] Exactly. [5048.3s] Dumbgeons and Dragons is a Dumb Dragons production.
